The Capiz Leo Club โ Filamer Christian University (CLC FCU) participated in the 6th Batch of the Capiz Next Generation Leaders Alliance (CNGLA) held at the Amphitheater of the University of Perpetual Help System โ Pueblo de Panay Campus in Lawaan, Roxas City, Capiz, Nov. 14.
The event was organized by the Borres Youth Leadership Institute Inc. (BYLI) gathered 81 youth organizations across the province for the event, fostering collaboration, leadership, and a commitment to nation-building.
CLC FCU took a prominent role in the environment committee, emphasizing the importance of sustainable practices and community engagement.
"Participating in CNGLA was an inspiring and enriching experience," said AJ Perez, Finance and Management Resources Director.
"The orientation led by Mr. Sam David Q. Andrada, together with outgoing officers and volunteers, provided valuable insights into leadership, collaboration, and community service," she added.
Atty. Stephen T. Alquiza highlighted that young leaders possess the energy, creativity, and passion to drive meaningful social transformation.
He further explained that effective leadership involves service, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a difference, summarized by the formula: Inspiration + Realization = Action.
CLC FCUโs delegation included Anastasha Lim, Secretary, and AJ Perez, who actively participated in the said event.
The clubโs involvement in CNGLA reflects its dedication to developing responsible leaders who contribute positively to society and the environment.
