In recognition of its strong commitment to youth leadership and community service, the 𝐅𝐂𝐔 𝐏𝐄𝐄𝐑 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐒 was among the awardees honored during the Borres Youth Leadership Institute (BYLI) Fellowship Night held at the CAP Auditorium, Roxas City, on January 17.

The award was received by 𝐅𝐂𝐔 𝐏𝐄𝐄𝐑 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐒 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙇𝙚𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙡 𝘾𝙚𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙠 𝙏𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙧, who was recognized as one of the Partner Youth Organizations and a recipient of the Service Award, before an audience of more than 175 attendees. The recognition highlights the organization’s continuous involvement in youth-centered initiatives, leadership development, and meaningful partnerships.

Expressing his gratitude, Titular shared, “𝘓𝘦𝘵’𝘴 𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴. 𝘐 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘥𝘷𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘤𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵. 𝘛𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘉𝘠𝘓𝘐, 𝘸𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩 𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵.”

This recognition serves as a reminder of FCU Peer Facilitators’ dedication to inspiring students, nurturing responsible leadership, and encouraging young people to take active roles in building positive change within their communities.

Last November 14, the Peer Facilitators Organization actively participated in the 6th Batch of the Capiz Next Generation Leaders Alliance (CNGLA) of BYLI, held at the amphitheater of the University of Perpetual Help System – Pueblo de Panay, Roxas City, Capiz.

Over81 organizations from across the province of Capiz joined this leadership and skills development gathering, fostering collaboration and empowerment among young leaders.

Mary Florence Sunsona and Althea Marie Francisco proudly represented the Peer Facilitators Organization during the event, alongside other attending officers who showed their full support.

The Peer Facilitators Organization of 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙧 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 proudly celebrated World Mental Health Awareness through a meaningful event that aimed to strengthen mental health advocacy among students. Alongside this celebration, the organization also held their Basic Peer Mentoring and Acquaintance Party, creating a day filled with learning, bonding, and empowerment.

This celebration served as a reminder that mental health is just as important as physical health — especially in times of catastrophe and crisis. It emphasized the need for accessible mental health services and support systems that can uplift individuals facing emotional challenges. Through discussions, activities, and team-building sessions, members were encouraged to open up, support one another, and embrace a culture of understanding and compassion.
