The Philippines has already lost almost 50% of its mangrove forests in the past century. This alarming decline highlights the urgent need to restore and protect these vital ecosystems.

In line with the Department of Education’s commitment to environmental stewardship and Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 13: Climate Action & SDG 14: Life Below Water), we are conducting a Mangrove Tree Planting Activity.

This initiative aims to promote environmental awareness, strengthen disaster resilience, and instill in our learners the value of protecting our natural resources.

Together, let us plant mangroves today for a safer, greener, and more sustainable tomorrow.

Today, our school community joined hands in tackling one of the biggest challenges we face every day — trash on campus.

With teamwork, unity, and a shared love for our environment, we cleaned up, learned the value of proper waste disposal, and proved that small actions create BIG impact.

Let’s keep this spirit alive — because a clean school is a reflection of how much we care for our future.

Plastic pollution is choking our planet — but together, we can change that. Today, we stand with millions around the world to call for urgent action to reduce plastic waste and protect our ecosystems.

💡 Did you know?
🔹 Over 400 million tons of plastic are produced every year.
🔹 Half of that is single-use — used just once, then discarded.
🔹 Only 9% gets recycled.

This World Environment Day, let’s rethink our habits and be part of the solution.
