Newly inducted GCNET Officers ready to serve
The new set of officers GCNET, Inc. officially started their two-year term (2024-2026) after taking their oath on November 20, 2024.
The Oath-Taking and Induction Ceremony took place at Hotel Alunsina, Banica Roxas City and was graced by Mr. Dexter Mark B. Cervales, GCNET Focal Person and DOLE Field Office-VI Officer II, who served as the official representative of Dir. Joselito G. Dela Banda, Head of DOLE Capiz Field Office.
Dr. Nelson V. Gregorio, Jr., outgoing president, gave a message in behalf of all the outgoing officers, highlighting the reminder that as stewards of others' well-being, it is essential for guidance counselors to also be mindful and careful of their own wellness.
Outgoing officers of GCNET were then each honored for their contributions during their term from 2022-2024.
Mr. Cervales then gave a message, affirming the partnership between GCNET and the Department of Labor and Employment, and looking forward to future opportunities for collaboration. He then led the oath-taking of new officers.
Mr. Jumar Q. Apoyo, MSGC, RGC, newly inducted President of GCNET, then gave his acceptance speech where he shared how people are sometimes unexpectedly led to a path of leadership. He shared his full confidence in his fellow officers' dedication and commitment to fulfill their responsibilities to the organization. Speaking in behalf of the officers, Mr. Apoyo expressed his acceptance of the challenge, and his willingness to give his best for the community he was called to serve.
The former and new president, former and new secretary, and former and present treasurer then proceeded with the ceremonial turn-over of documents.
After the first half of the event, officers then proceeded with a strategic planning session where they communicated their goals and plans for the welfare of members of GCNET and the Capiznon community. Facilitated by Ms. Kristine Joy D. Sauler, GCNET Vice President (Public), officers shared their proposed programs and activities. Mr. Jumar Apoyo, Ms. Angelica Dayalo, and Ms. Herowena Frofunga, each presented in behalf of their groupmates.
Lastly, officers celebrated the birthday of one of their colleagues--Ms. Irah Faith Celino, RGC, RPm, as everyone expressed their commitment to support one another throughout their term.
