At the cross, Jesus took the punishment we deserved and bore the weight of our sins so that we could receive forgiveness, peace, and new life. His wounds remind us that our salvation was not earned by our own efforts, but was made possible through His sacrifice. πŸ™πŸ»

Because He finished the work for us, we no longer have to live bound by guilt, shame, or the weight of our past. We can walk in the freedom He has given and live each day grateful for the grace that was poured out for us at the cross. πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Having a vision means knowing who we are living for and where we are called to go. πŸ™πŸ»β€οΈ When Jesus saves us, our vision should not stop with what He has done for us, but extend to making Him known to others.

In Session 8: Vision, Bro. Joey Hernandez reminded us that when someone saves you from death, you spend your life telling others how that person saved you. In the same way, because Christ has saved us, our vision is to live with purpose, share His story, and point others toward the One who gave us new life. πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Baptism is more than a ceremony. It is a public declaration of a life transformed by Jesus, a testimony of leaving the old life behind and choosing to walk in newness with Him. πŸ™πŸ»

In Session 7: Baptism, Pastor Leo Mata reminded us through a recorded message that our calling is to be His witnesses, showing the world what Jesus has done in our lives. πŸ™ŒπŸ» Our testimony is not meant to be kept to ourselves. Every changed life, every story of grace, and every step of faith can point others to the One who made it all possible.

Strongholds can make us feel trapped, powerless, and unable to overcome the battles we face. But as followers of Christ, we are not called to fight these battles in our own strength.❀️

In Session 6: Overcoming Strongholds, we were reminded that being a Christian does not mean we will never face the attacks of the enemy. There will be struggles, temptations, and battles, but we do not have to face them alone. With Christ, we have the strength to stand firm, break free from what holds us back, and walk in the victory He has already given us. πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Yesterday marked a beautiful start to our True Life Retreat, filled with moments of worship, learning, fellowship, and meaningful conversations. Through every session and activity, we were reminded of God’s goodness and faithfulness, giving us countless reasons to be grateful for all that He has done.

Day 1 was more than just the beginning of the retreat. It was an opportunity to pause, draw closer to God, and open our hearts to what He wants to do in our lives. As we continue this journey, may we carry with us hearts ready to listen, learn, and experience more of His presence. πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Prayer is more than simply asking God for what we need or want. It is an opportunity to draw closer to Him, recognize His goodness, and express our gratitude for everything He has done in our lives. When we pray with a grateful heart, we shift our focus from what we lack to the One who has always been faithful. πŸ™πŸ»

In Session 5: How to Pray, Bro. Windion reminds us that We pray because God has been sustaining us all throughout πŸ™ŒπŸ» Prayer is not only about bringing our requests before God, but also about worshiping Him, thanking Him, and acknowledging His faithfulness.
