Service Above Self Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women ages 18 to 26.

Rotaract clubs are either community or university based, and they’re sponsored by a local Rotary club. This makes them true "partners in service" and key members of the family of Rotary.

The 𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 proudly participated in the 𝐀𝐏𝐑𝐑𝐂 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 held in 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐢, 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 from 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟏–𝟐𝟒, bringing together young leaders and changemakers from across the Asia-Pacific region. Among the club’s delegates and attendees were United Chosen President Charles Danielle Advincula, Secretary Casey Alexandra Lontoc, and club member Mikaela Jhane Advincula. Their presence at the event highlighted the club’s dedication to fostering leadership, strengthening international fellowship, and embracing opportunities for growth and collaboration through Rotary service.

We are not only dedicated and passionate about bringing astronomy to everyone, but we also believe in helping people in need. As a team of astronomers who love space science, each of us reaches out to initiate outreach programs, fostering learning among youth while making an impact on our community.💫

The outreach program consists of two community-service projects: 𝓟𝓻𝓸𝓳𝓮𝓬𝓽 𝓟𝓐𝓡𝓐 and 𝓟𝓻𝓸𝓳𝓮𝓬𝓽 𝓛𝓪𝓹𝓲𝓼 𝓪𝓽 𝓟𝓪𝓹𝓮𝓵.

𝓟𝓻𝓸𝓳𝓮𝓬𝓽 𝓟𝓐𝓡𝓐‼️initiative aims to provide free lunch meals to hardworking jeepney drivers. Despite the current state of gasoline prices, they continue to work and to serve every Filipino. They are sacrificing their needs just to make ends meet. They are important in our country as they are the key to our daily transportation. Ensuring every student, worker, and every people to reach their destinations affordably. This initiative aims to appreciate their dedication and resilience by offering a simple yet kind gesture.

𝓟𝓻𝓸𝓳𝓮𝓬𝓽 𝓛𝓪𝓹𝓲𝓼 𝓪𝓽 𝓟𝓪𝓹𝓮𝓵 ✏️is a donation drive that provides essential school supplies to underprivileged students. As astronomy advocates, we aim to bridge the “space” between those with access to education and those still reaching for it. Some students are not able to pursue education due to the lack of essential school supplies. Education is not something to be taken away from students who are struggling financially and basic social advantages. As an astro leader, we want to eliminate the gap or space and connect the education with young people who want to study. This initiative aims to support their education and motivate them to pursue their studies with confidence.

The Rotaract Club of Cavite Glowing Youth, in partnership with SK Bagong Silangan, International Peace Youth Group (IPYG) of the Philippines, Rotaract Club of Manila Metro, Rotaract Club of Malabon Highlands and the Rotaract Club of San Francisco Del Monte Malaya Achievers, successfully conducted the 𝘗𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘊𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘴

Bringing together the youth, the session became a meaningful space for learning, reflection, and open dialogue. Participants were encouraged to promote understanding, respect, and harmony within their community.

This initiative highlighted the power of the youth in fostering peace—proving that small conversations can lead to lasting positive change in Brgy. Bagong Silangan.

The Rotaract Club of Cavite Glowing Youth, together with SK Bagong Silangan, the Rotaract Club of Luntiang Maynila Prime, and the Rotaract Club of San Francisco Del Monte Malaya Achievers, successfully conducted the 𝘜𝘳𝘣𝘢𝘯 𝘎𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 activity, promoting sustainability and community involvement.

With the active participation of the San Isidro Labrador Farmers, this initiative promoted sustainable practices and highlighted the importance of food security within the community. Seeds were not only planted in the soil, but also in the hearts of participants—encouraging continuous growth and care for the environment.

Through bayanihan, we cultivated hope for a greener and more self-sufficient Brgy. Bagong Silangan.
