🌱 Mangrove Tree Planting Activity | July 26, 2026 🌱

Together, we planted hope for a safer and greener tomorrow! 💚

The Philippine Red Cross – Romblon Chapter, together with our dedicated Red Cross Youth (RCY) Volunteers, PDRRMO–Romblon, BLGU Agnay, partner organizations, and community volunteers, successfully conducted a Mangrove Tree Planting Activity at Barangay Agnay, Romblon.

Through the collective efforts of 217 participants, we successfully planted 1,230 mangrove seedlings a meaningful contribution to environmental conservation, coastal protection, and disaster resilience.

This activity reflects our shared commitment to protecting our environment while building stronger and more resilient communities for future generations.

The Philippine Red Cross – Romblon Chapter extends its heartfelt gratitude to all volunteers, partners, and stakeholders whose dedication and teamwork made this activity a success.

If someone intentionally hacked a page or Facebook account, the possible legal cases depend on what they did and the laws.

In the Philippines, these are the laws that commonly apply:

1. Violation of the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10175)

* Illegal Access (Hacking): Accessing your Facebook account or Page without your authorization is a criminal offense.

* Illegal Interception: If they intercepted passwords, messages, or other electronic communications.

* Computer-Related Identity Theft: If they impersonated you or used your identity to take control of the account.

* Computer-Related Fraud: If they used the hacked account to obtain money, deceive others, or gain an unlawful benefit.

2. Violation of the Electronic Commerce Act (Republic Act No. 8792)

* May apply if they unlawfully accessed computer systems or electronic data.

3. Estafa (Swindling) under the Revised Penal Code

* If the hacked account was used to solicit money, scam people, or cause financial loss.

4. Unjust Vexation, Grave Threats, or Libel

* If they used the account to harass, threaten, or publish defamatory content, other criminal laws may also apply depending on the facts.

If the person:
* Changed your password or email without permission,

* Removed you as an admin,
Added themselves as an admin,
* Changed Page ownership,
Sent messages pretending to be you,
* Used the Page to collect money or scam others,

those actions can strengthen a criminal complaint.

WHAT SHOULD DO:
* Preserve all evidence, including screenshots, emails from Facebook, login alerts, chat messages, and records of changes to Page roles.

* Report the incident to Facebook through its account recovery and compromised account process.

* File a complaint with the Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group or the National Bureau of Investigation Cybercrime Division.

* Bring all available evidence, including URLs, screenshots, dates, times, and any information identifying the suspect.
