Girl Scouts in Action: Service with Purpose

This month, we proudly launch two inspiring Chief Girl Scout Projects that reflect the true spirit of leadership, service, and community care 💚

1. Project on Health and Wellness
Focused on promoting the health and well-being of children in Brgy. Sawang, this meaningful initiative is spearheaded by Sr. Girl Scout Yvonne Bryce M. Dela Cruz, with the guidance of Troop Leader Mrs. Julie Ann Montojo - Moaje.

2. Project on Ecology
An Ecology Improvement Project dedicated to enhancing the Day Care Center in Brgy. Ginablan, Romblon, creating a cleaner, safer and more child-friendly environment for our young learners. This valuable project is initatied by Sr. Girl Scout Anniqa Yunis Reyes, with the guidance of her troop leader Mrs. Florilyn Del Rosario Magayam

These projects showcase how Girl Scouts lead with heart, act with purpose, and serve with impact. 💪💖

Girl Scouts' Week - Day 2: Girls' Day
💚 Strengthening Girl Scouts' Friendship 💚

Day 2 of Girl Scouts' Week at Romblon National High School was a fantastic success! Yesterday they started the Day 2 with an informative session that talks about the week’s exciting events and provided important details for the upcoming survival camp. It was a great way to ensure everyone is prepared and enthusiastic about the challenges ahead. After that, they have a "Girl Scouts Got Talent Contest" where they show off their skills. The afternoon was filled with lively games that not only energized the group but also encouraged teamwork and companionship. They concluded the day with a heartwarming gathering where everyone shared their experiences and bonded over the day's activities. It’s clear that this week is shaping up to be an unforgettable adventure filled with learning, fun, and friendship.

Girl Scouts' Week - Day 1: Faith Day
💚 Building Strong Girl Scouts' Faith 💚

The Girl Scouts of Romblon National School celebrated Faith Day as the first activity of the Girl Scouts Week.

✨ This is just the beginning of the fun activities of Girl Scouts Week!!! ✨

✨ Psalm 27:1: “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (This verse speaks to finding strength and courage in God.)

✨Psalm 139:14: "“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; that I know very well.” (This verse reminds us of God's love and affirms our unique worth.)

Salute to the Girl Scouts of Romblon National High School for their exceptional support during two pivotal events in our school! 🎉

In the morning, the Girl Scouts played a vital role in ensuring a smooth and well-coordinated installation and welcoming ceremony for our new principal, Sir Jophre Galindez. 👏 Their discipline, leadership, and attention to detail allowed the entire event to run seamlessly, making sure that our new principal received a warm and well-organized welcome from the RNHS community.

In the afternoon, their efforts continued as they actively assisted in the orientation for Senior High School students about the new school rules, ensuring that everything flowed smoothly and efficiently. As if that wasn’t enough, the Girl Scouts also took part in a vibrant, energetic, and colorful parade with teachers from every grade level in honor of our upcoming Teacher’s Day celebration! 🚩🎓

Their leadership and service have once again shown how crucial they are to the success of every school event. Their commitment to serving the school and the community is a true inspiration, not only to their fellow students but also to all of us. 🌟

Girls in Green take action!!

The RNHS Girls Scouts rendered help in crowd control and assisted the guards in ushering the parents during 1st PTA Meeting of Romblon National High School last August 17, 2024.

The Girl Scouts of RNHS took the opportunity to campaign to parents to increase membership in the organization and encourage the parents to let their girls join the organization. With the help of Senior Planning Board (SCPB) Chairman, Mary Valerie M. Sebastian together with the Junior Journalist Guild (JJG) Chairman of RNHS Girl Scout, Ma. Andrea M. Rase, they were able to discuss to parents the different benefits in joining the movement.

Through this campaign, the journey of making the RNHS Girls Scouts more active become close to reality. 🙂

It is time for the special occasion to honor the values of leadership, service, courage, and sisterhood that every Girl Scout embodies. This week, the Girl Scouts will be having a wonderful celebration, engaging in meaningful activities. 🎉

As we celebrate, we recognize the vital role the Girl Scouts of Romblon National High School play in shaping young women to become leaders of character, advocates of change, and citizens who are always "Laging Handa!" ✊

Together, we encourage all young scouts to participate in the upcoming Girl Scout Week to continue nurturing a community where everybody shines with purpose, pride, and passion. 🌟

Thank you so much to Romblon Provincial Office - Provincial Youth and Development Council for giving the RNHS Girl Scouts a very wonderful experience during the Linggo ng Kabataan 2025.

Congratulations Girls, TL and GSP Romblon Council for winning the Best Youngtreprenuers Booth!
