π± 1,230 Mangrove Seedlings Planted for a More Resilient Romblon! π±
In celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) 2026, the Philippine Red Cross β Romblon Chapter, in partnership with the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO)βRomblon, Barangay LGU of Agnay, and our partner organizations, successfully conducted a Mangrove Tree Planting Activity at Barangay Agnay, Romblon.
With the collective efforts of 217 volunteers and partners, we successfully planted 1,230 mangrove seedlings to help protect our coastlines, restore marine habitats, and strengthen our communities against the impacts of climate change and natural disasters.
This meaningful activity reflects our shared commitment to environmental stewardship, volunteerism, and building safer, stronger, and more resilient communities.
