The recently turnover of a new mechanical ventilator is an intentional milestone—but seeing it immediately put to use to support a days - old newborn brings that impact to life right away!

Ynares Memorial Hospital serves a crucial role in Rizal, and additions to their neonatal or intensive care equipment directly change outcomes for families who need critical respiratory support right in their community. For a newborn, having access to precise ventilation in those first critical hours can make all the difference in stabilizing their lungs and giving them a strong start.

It is indeed a powerful reminder of why upgrading hospital equipment matters so much.

That is an incredible milestone for the local community! A Rotary International and the Rotary Foundation (Global Grant) turning over heavy-duty equipment like a Mechanical Ventilator, Patient Cardiac Monitor, and Diagnostic Ultrasound to the Ynares Municipal Hospital in Rodriguez (Montalban), Rizal is a massive upgrade for public healthcare in the area.

These items provide critical capabilities that save lives daily:

1. Mechanical Ventilator: Offers critical respiratory support for patients in intensive care or those experiencing severe lung trauma and respiratory failure.
2. Patient Cardiac Monitor: Gives medical staff real-time, continuous tracking of vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and ECG) to immediately catch any distress.

3. Diagnostic Ultrasound: Allows non-invasive, precise imaging for emergency triage, internal organ evaluation, and prenatal care for expectant mothers.

By bringing this high-tier diagnostic and life-support equipment to a local public facility, the Rotary Club of Rodriguez—alongside its global partner Rotary Club of Gwangju-Gwangsan and The Rotary Foundation—is drastically reducing the need for indigent patients to travel or be transferred to overwhelmed tertiary hospitals in Metro Manila for basic critical care.
