Rotary Club of Rodriguez

Rotary Club of Rodriguez (RC ID 83910) is a club of Rotary International District 3800.

20/09/2026

Yesterday, September 19, 2026, the Rotary Club of Rodriguez brought the spirit of “Service Above Self” to the young learners of ERES Elementary School through Project ABC a meaningful initiative dedicated to helping elementary students improve their reading skills, comprehension, and love for learning.📖✨

Project ABC is more than just teaching children how to read. It is about helping them understand what they read, build confidence, develop essential learning skills, and discover the joy of knowledge.🌟

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream. Through the time, patience, and dedication of our Rotarians and volunteers, we hope to help our young learners take another step toward a brighter and more promising future. 🌱📚

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who shared their time, talents, and hearts for our children. Together, we can make a difference - one reader, one lesson, and one child at a time.💙💛

The concerned officers will continue coordinating and working on the necessary requirements to move the project forward.

────────

2. PROJECT BJMP

The proposed BJMP Project was discussed, with an estimated budget of approximately ₱150,000.

The project will focus on the improvement/construction of a comfort room (CR) and activity hall.

Persons in Charge:

• President Estong
• Service Project Director JBH
• PN Roland

Target: October 2026

The team agreed that the project details and plans should be polished and finalized within September to ensure proper preparation before the target implementation in October.

────────

3. PROJECT PASALUBONG

The Pasalubong Project was also discussed.

Since the LGU currently has an ongoing project related to the same initiative, the club agreed that there is no need to establish a separate new store.

Instead, the Rotary Club of Rodriguez will explore a consignment arrangement where local products can be displayed and sold through the existing LGU initiative.

This approach will allow the club to support local products while maximizing existing resources and avoiding duplication of projects.

────────

4. RCC WAWA VISIT / CONCERN

The members discussed the need to conduct a visit to the RCC in Wawa to personally assess and better understand the concerns and identify possible solutions.

A meeting will be called on September 25, 2026 to further discuss the matter and formulate appropriate action.

Expected participants:

• President Estong
• PP Oya
• New Generation Director Girlie

The objective is to identify the concern, coordinate with the concerned parties, and develop an appropriate and sustainable solution.

📚💙💛 LEARNING. LEADERSHIP. FACILITATION. SERVICE. 💛💙

The Rotary International District 3800 successfully conducted its Club Learning Facilitation Seminar on September 12, 2026, at OLOPSC, Marikina.

The seminar brought together Rotarians who shared a common commitment to continuous learning, effective leadership, and strengthening our Rotary Clubs through meaningful and engaging facilitation.

The CLFS provided an opportunity for participants to enhance their knowledge and skills in facilitating club learning sessions, encouraging member participation, and creating an environment where Rotarians can grow as leaders and servants of their communities.

More than gaining knowledge, the seminar reminded us that learning becomes truly meaningful when it is transformed into action.

As Rotarians, may we continue to:

✨ Learn with purpose
✨ Lead with passion
✨ Facilitate with confidence
✨ Serve with commitment
✨ Create Lasting Impact in our communities

Our heartfelt appreciation to Rotary District 3800, the organizers, facilitators, speakers, and all Rotarians who participated and made this learning experience meaningful and successful.

Together, let us continue building stronger clubs, developing better leaders, and creating a lasting impact through Service Above Self. 💙💛

💙💛 SEPTEMBER – BASIC EDUCATION & LITERACY MONTH 📚

For the Rotary Club of Rodriguez, September is an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the power of education and literacy.

This month, we celebrate the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, read, understand, and dream. Through literacy programs, reading activities, educational support, and community partnerships, we can help build a stronger foundation for our children and our community.

🌟 SEPTEMBER MESSAGE

“When we teach a child to read, we don't just give them words—we give them a voice, a future, and the power to change their world.”

Let us continue to support our learners, encourage a love for reading, and make education accessible to those who need it most.

📖 Read. Learn. Grow. Inspire.
🤝 Together, let us create lasting impact through education.
