100thousand Pencils Project Helping children get ready for school. Our advocacy | Due to poverty, many families struggle to send their children to school. Boor in Cardona Rizal.

Since most of their families’ incomes are spent on food, a lot of children start school without tool for learning such as pencils, paper, and other educational materials. This situation prompted us, a group of friends mostly alumni of Rizal National Science High School, to take action. In 2005, we successfully organized our first outreach project by donating school supplies to incoming Grade 1 students in Brgy. The experience taught us that even a small act can make a big difference, and made us realize that much is still needed to be done and more children deserve proper education. What started as a one-time outreach project became a yearly activity since 2010. We are very grateful to the increasing support we received that contributed to the success of our outreach activities.

San Mateo, Rizal is among the many areas severely affected by the recent monsoon rains. In response, we support the initiative being organized by DIY Campers to conduct a relief effort and feeding program for approximately 200 residents, including 40 children, of Sitio Lokus, Brgy. Silangan, Rizal. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our sponsors and donors for their invaluable support in making this possible.

Huge thanks sa lahat ng aming sponsors, donors, at pledges na hindi nagdalawang-isip na tumulong para sa ating Relief Operation & Hot Meals Feeding Program ngayong Linggo! 🧡

Big thank you din sa LGU ng San Mateo, Rizal for their support and coordination. Dahil sa inyong lahat, handa na tayong maghatid ng tulong sa Lokus, Brgy. Silangan! Together, we can make a difference!

We successfully turned over sandals and shirts to the Brgy. Puray Tour Guide Association, who kindly volunteered to facilitate the distribution to the students of Sitio Quinao.

Sitio Quinao is home to the indigenous Dumagat tribe. Sadly, educational infrastructure in the community remains underdeveloped, making every bit of support crucial for the children.

A huge thank you to Ma’am Lydz Vertudez from the Puray Tour Guides for the seamless coordination.
