๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ | The second celebration of Junior Marketing Association 2026 officially began at the University of Rizal System โ Pililla Campus in gymnasium with the theme Marke-Tribe: Strengthening Bonds through Synergy and Strategy , April 22.
Prof. Aries B. Annievas, adviser of the Junior Marketing Association (JMA), opened JMA
Day โ26 by sincerely thanking all attendees and participants for their support and involvement. He emphasized that the general objective of the celebration is to provide opportunities for unity, collaboration, and camaraderie among Marketing Management students. Despite the hectic schedules of both students and faculty, he highlighted that everyone remained present, ready to join and actively take part in the meaningful activities of JMA Day '26.
Prof. Rivaolimae S. Calmada, MBA, BSBA Program Head of the College of Business,
congratulated everyone on the successful second JMA Day, saying, โCongratulations to all of you for having your second JMA Day. Despite the struggles faced by the officers since "muntikan ng hindi matuloy ang event JMA DAY '26โ, their positive outlook made this
celebration possible.โ She further emphasized, โWe are connected through shared values,
behaviors, and identity. Just like all of you, blue represents the identity of a true marketista,
because your innovative minds and creativity in developing new products embody the spirit
of marketing leadership.โ
Prof. Nerry T. Vivas, Coordinator of OSDS, once shared a wonderful story: โI remember
interviewing an applicant who wanted to pursue her studies. When I asked what course she preferred, she answered HRM and explained, โI donโt want marketing because I donโt want to sell.โ But that belief is mistaken, because marketing is not about selling; it is about being felt. Marketing is about creating awareness and making people realize that we exist. "Dahil kung walang marketing walang sales ang Isang business"
For the first activity flag making and jingle in this JMA day'26 we have team for 1st year 1A (
Team Green ) 1B ( Team Red ) Secon year 2A ( Team Blue ) 2B ( Yellow Team) , third year
3A ( Team Purple ) 3B ( Team Black ) fourth year ( Team Brown) the groups carefully crafted flags that highlighted their assigned colors, making each design a strong symbol of unity and representation and also each group also performed their own lively jingle song, adding energy, unity, and excitement to the program while highlighting their spirit and teamwork.
After the colorful Flag Making and Jingle Presentation, JMA Day โ26 continued with another highlight the Team Building Activity: MarkโTribe Edition. This activity was made to help teams build stronger bonds, practice teamwork, and connect more with one another.
Through fun games and group tasks, each team learned the importance of unity,
cooperation, and friendship. The event brought joy and energy to the celebration, showing
the true spirit of the Marketing students.
In after session, Even under the scorching heat of the sun, the Marketistas continued to
shine during the afternoon session of their continuous team-building activity.Each Marketista demonstrated strong synergy and strategic thinking through the game called โThe Longest Line.โ Every team created different strategies, showcasing competitiveness and teamwork in their effort to win. Followed by the next activity, The participants also showcased their creativity in the Gay Mini Pageant: Kumot โDress to Impress.โ From a simple kumot, the seven teams brought their assigned colors to life, transforming them into unique and resourceful outfits. They proved that they are not only skilled in marketing but are also confident in expressing themselves on stage.

As the program concluded, new sets of officers for the next school year of the Junior
Marketing Association were elected.
