Recognition, Pinning, and Turnover of JPO Advisorship

The Junior Police Organization (JPO) successfully conducted its Recognition, Pinning, and Turnover of Advisorship Ceremony, marking a significant milestone in the organization's commitment to leadership, service, and excellence.
The program formally commenced with the Opening Prayer and the singing of the National Anthem, followed by the Opening Remarks delivered by PCOL Antonio C. Paulite II (Ret.), Head of the Student Discipline Office and Incoming JPO Adviser. The event was graced by the Inspirational Messages of Bryan Alexander Z. Garon, Head of Student Affairs and Services, and Jester A. Bautista, Head of Student Empowerment and Leadership.
A heartfelt message was delivered by the Outgoing JPO Adviser, J/SINSP Rosendo S. Macabasag (Ret.), highlighting his dedication and invaluable contributions to the organization. Messages of appreciation and support were likewise given by the Outgoing JPO Deputy Advisers, Ms. Melfe G. Diola and Ms. Cristine V. Rivera.

One of the highlights of the ceremony was the Distribution of Certificates and JPO Pinning, recognizing the achievements, commitment, and service of JPO members. This was followed by the formal Turnover and Pinning of the Incoming JPO Adviser, symbolizing the transition of leadership and the continuation of the organization's mission and vision.

In his acceptance message, PCOL Antonio C. Paulite II (Ret.) expressed his gratitude and commitment to guiding the Junior Police Organization towards greater accomplishments and meaningful service. The ceremony concluded with the Closing Remarks delivered by J/SINSP Rosendo S. Macabasag (Ret.), leaving an inspiring message of leadership, unity, and dedication among the members.

Serving as the Master of Ceremonies was Janus Lothaire Lipata Beros, a 4th Year Criminology student, who facilitated the program with professionalism and excellence.
The event stands as a testament to the JPO's enduring commitment to developing disciplined, responsible, and service-oriented future law enforcement professionals.

WEEKLY CLEAN-UP DRIVE

As part of the continuing commitment to discipline, responsibility, and environmental awareness, the Philippine College of Criminology conducted its Weekly Clean-Up Drive participated in by students with corresponding disciplinary sanctions as a means of promoting accountability and community service.

This activity was successfully facilitated through the cooperation of the PCCR Junior Police Organization and the PCCR ROTC Unit under the leadership and guidance of MS. MELFE G. DIOLA, Student Discipline Coordinator, and MS. CRISTINE V. RIVERA, Student Discipline Assistant.
The program aims to instill discipline, teamwork, and social responsibility among students while maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the institution.

Classes and work will be suspended on the said date. Regular classes and office operations will resume on the next working day.

ABACAN RIVER CLEANUP
Around 250 volunteers joined a cleanup drive along the Abacan River in the Barangay Balibago area in Angeles City on Saturday, February 21.

Angeles City councilors Maricel Morales, JC Aguas, Mitch Bonifacio, and Alex Indiongco, along with students from the Philippine College of Criminology, and representatives from various private sector groups took part in the activity as volunteers.

The event marks the 8th cleanup drive spearheaded by Balibago Waterworks together with Abacan River and Angeles Watershed Advocacy Council (ARAW-ACI), Nagkakaisang Guardians, and the Angeles City government as part of continuing efforts to protect and preserve the city’s waterways.

Guppies and birds have started to return to the river – a clear sign of encouraging progress in ongoing rehabilitation efforts.

Balibago, Angeles, Pampanga – February 21, 2026 – Images captured the Junior Police Organization cadets of Philippine College of Criminology in full action, rolling up their sleeves along the Abacan River banks, with bags brimming with trash as they restored the waterway's flow.

Armed with gloves, sacks, and unwavering determination, PCCr's Junior Police Organization transformed Balibago's riverside into a battlefield against pollution. Snapshots showed teams hauling debris—plastics, bottles, Styrofoam, and other waste—from murky waters and overgrown banks, echoing ongoing community efforts for a cleaner, healthier Abacan River that benefits local families and ecosystems.

The theme “Isang Pintig Para sa Malinis at Ligtas na Tubig” pulsed through every scoop, sweep, and collective effort, linking the cadets' youth service to vital environmental guardianship and sustainability. Close-ups revealed cadets planting native saplings firmly into the soil, roots promising fresh filtration, erosion control, and greener shores for the river that sustains Pampanga's thriving communities.

Final frames showcased beaming smiles amid sweat-soaked uniforms, triumphant group huddles with thumbs up, and high-fives all around, symbolizing the cadets' disciplined hands and hearts nurturing nature—one heartbeat at a time for safer, sustainable waters. Guided by their core values of integrity, teamwork, and selfless service, these future guardians proved that small actions create lasting impact. 🌿🧤👮‍♂️💧
