Ten days. Countless memories. One unforgettable journey.

From Luzon to Visayas, our six RoundTrippers—Kira, Lio, Arnou, Alexia, Mo and Joana— immersed themselves in Filipino culture, history, service, and adventure, all while forming unexpected friendships that will last a lifetime. More than just a trip, this was a celebration of Rotaract fellowship and the warmth of Filipino hospitality—made possible by the incredible host clubs who welcomed them with open arms.

To relive the journey, here’s a special video vlog prepared by our RoundTrippers themselves, showcasing the moments, emotions, and appreciation they have for every Rotaractor, Rotarian, and friend who made this experience extraordinary.

To all our host clubs, sponsoring Rotary Clubs, partners and supporters—maraming, maraming salamat! This was truly the best edition yet, and it wouldn’t have been possible without you.

Until we meet again—Mabuhay ang Rotaract!

Day 10: More Than Just a Trip—A Family Found

As the Rotaract Philippine Roundtrip 2025 came to an end, it wasn’t just about the places explored or the food enjoyed—it was about the unexpected friendships that blossomed along the way.

From different corners of the world—Germany, Belgium, Canada, Brazil, and the Philippines—our six RoundTrippers arrived as strangers but left as family. Over the past 10 days, they laughed, shared stories, faced adventures together, and embraced Filipino culture as one. Whether it was jumping off cliffs, sharing quiet sunrise moments, getting lost in deep conversations, or simply bonding over rice at every meal, these moments turned into memories they’ll cherish forever. 💙✨

At their send-off lunch at Tita Kim’s, emotions ran high as goodbyes were exchanged. Tears were shed, tight hugs were given, and promises to reunite were made. What started as a cultural exchange became something deeper—a lifelong connection shaped by shared experiences, kindness, and the warmth of Filipino hospitality.

Though this chapter has ended, the bonds built during this journey will last a lifetime. Maraming salamat, Roundtrippers! Until we meet again! ✈️

Day 9: A Grand Finale in Cebu 🇵🇭✨

For their final night of the Rotaract Philippine Roundtrip, our RoundTrippers gathered for a special dinner hosted by President Rheneir Mora of the Rotary Club of Cebu South, the sponsoring club of the Rotaract Club of Cebu South, at the historic Casino Español de Cebu. Surrounded by classic architecture and warm company, they indulged in a feast of Filipino-Spanish cuisine, savoring flavors that reflect the country’s rich cultural heritage.

Over dinner, they shared stories, reflections, and laughter with the Rotary Club President, looking back at the unforgettable experiences of the past days. It was a meaningful way to connect, express gratitude, and celebrate newfound friendships.

To end the adventure-filled day (and trip!) on a sweet note, they headed out for frozen yogurt, a simple yet refreshing treat after all the action in Oslob and Badian. 🍦💙

With full hearts and full stomachs, the RoundTrippers soaked in the moment—one last night, one last toast to a journey of a lifetime.

Onto the province for the second day! For the first time, the Rotaract Club of Tiaong Transforming New Gen joined the Rotaract Philippine Roundtrip as one of its host clubs. On March 8, 2025, the six Roundtrippers from Belgium, Brazil, Canada, and Germany were warmly welcomed to Quezon Province as they experienced the rustic charm of rural Philippines at Villa Escudero Plantations and Resort.

Accompanied by MP Allia Rodriguez, IPP Allen Alimagno, PE Jan Nicole Perez and Rotaractors from the Rotaract Club of San Pedro East, the day started with a tour of one of the largest private museums in the country, where they explored centuries of Filipino history, culture, and heritage. Along the way, they met Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Papenburg, Germany, adding a global touch to their local experience.

The highlight of the day was a scenic carabao cart ride through the lush plantation while being serenaded with Filipino songs. The journey led them to the Labasin Waterfalls Restaurant, where they dined with their feet in cool, flowing water beneath a man-made waterfall, savoring a delicious Filipino feast complete with fresh buko juice. 🍽️

The afternoon was filled with vibrant Filipino traditions. The RoundTrippers enjoyed the Philippine Experience Show that showcased the rich history of Filipino music, cultural dances, and a unique look into cockfighting. During the cockfighting demonstration, the Roundtrippers had the chance to experience what it's like to be part of this local tradition by placing their bets on their chosen chicken. After the show, the Roundtrippers had the opportunity to meet a Rotarian from Australia.

They then paddled on bamboo rafts along the tranquil Bulakin River, before finishing the day tour with a refreshing swim and whirlpool bath to cool off. 🛶💦

It was a day to remember, filled with adventure, culture, and the rustic charm of rural Quezon. 🌾

Day 9: Chasing Sunrises, Whale Sharks & Waterfalls!

The RoundTrippers started the day before dawn, leaving as early as 3:00 AM to catch the breathtaking sunrise in Oslob, Cebu. Upon arrival, they were warmly welcomed by Oslob Tourism before enjoying a peaceful breakfast by the beach, fueling up for an adventure-packed day ahead.

The first thrill? Swimming with the majestic whale sharks of Oslob! 🐋✨ A once-in-a-lifetime experience, the trippers marveled at these gentle giants up close, an unforgettable encounter with Cebu’s marine wonders.

Next, they headed to Badian for an adrenaline-pumping canyoneering adventure! They navigated through cascading waters, climbed through rocky trails, and leaped from cliffs as high as 10 meters—pushing limits, conquering fears, and soaking in the refreshing beauty of nature.

From ocean depths to thrilling heights, Day 9 was a perfect mix of awe, adventure, and pure fun!

Day 8: Island Hopping & Underwater Wonders in Balicasag! 🏝️

After a morning of meaningful service, our RoundTrippers kicked back and enjoyed the beauty of Balicasag Island, thanks to the Rotaract Club of Tagbilaran and Rotaract Club of Tagbilaran - BISU Chapter!

They started with a scenic lunch aboard a big boat, feasting on delicious food while surrounded by the crystal-clear waters of Bohol. 🍽️⛵

Fueled and ready for adventure, they dove into the vibrant marine sanctuary of Balicasag, swimming alongside colorful fish and stunning coral reefs. 🐠🌊 Some even tried freediving, experiencing the breathtaking underwater world up close.

It was the perfect way to unwind, explore, and appreciate the natural wonders of the Philippines. Huge thanks to our amazing host clubs for this unforgettable island adventure!
