A decade of service, community and friendship. A decade of AKQu.
Since 2015, the Aktibong Kabatan-onan sa Quezon (AKQu) has stood as a pillar of youth leadership in our town โ not just an organization, but an incubator of future leaders, a home for volunteers, and a movement fueled by passion and purpose.
For ten years, we worked with the community, SK, the Barangay and the Municipal LGU as an accredited CSO and member of the LYDC, turning ideas into programs, dreams into events, and youth energy into real community impact.
We united all 31 barangays through the Annual Summer Sports Festival, where camaraderie and competition met on the court, where strength, talent, and leadership shined brighter than trophies.
We colored our town with Araw ng Quezon festivities, concerts, talent showcases, and the COLORS Rave Party, proving that the youth are not just participants, but creators of culture.
We trekked to far communities for outreach missions, joined medical drives, planted trees in watershed areas, and kept our surroundings clean through environmental drives.
We trained, we built teams, we shaped leaders โ preparing a generation that is future-ready, resilient, and deeply rooted in love for Quezon.
And through every program, every late-night prep, every shared meal after a long event, one truth remained:
AKQu thrives because of volunteers who give without expecting anything in return.
Time, sweat, creativity, talent, intellect.
10 years later, we stand stronger โ proof of what young people can achieve when united by purpose.
Hereโs to the past that shaped us, the present we celebrate, and the future we dare to build.
