We hold our regular stated meetings every 1st Saturday of each month at the Capitol Masonic Temple, Quezon City, Philippines. 🌹 "Where Friendship Blooms into Service" 🌹
The Order of the Amaranth is a charitable and fraternal organization made up of both men and women who have Masonic ties. Its members come together not just in service, but also in fellowship — united by shared values and a commit
ment to making a difference. While belief in a Supreme Being is essential, people from various faiths are welcome, as the Order embraces spiritual diversity. At the heart of its practices are meaningful rituals that highlight the everyday virtues of Truth, Faith, Wisdom, and Charity — principles that guide members in both life and service. One of the Order’s key charitable missions is its ongoing support for diabetes research and care, championed through the Amaranth Diabetes Foundation. For White Rose of York No. 67, it all began not in a grand hall or formal session, but in laughter-filled conversations and shared missions. We are a group of close friends — brothers and sisters from the Masonic family — who kept crossing paths while organizing the same community and charity efforts. Eventually, we realized something beautiful: this bond, built on shared service, could blossom into something even more meaningful. One afternoon, over coffee and easy laughter, our core team found themselves in one of those curious, meandering conversations that spark unexpected ideas. The question arose about whether any Amaranth Court had ever been named after a rose. The table fell silent as everyone searched their memories, but no such name came to mind. In that moment, inspiration struck, and the name White Rose of York emerged — carrying with it both elegance and a rich tapestry of history and symbolism. The name lingered in the air, carrying with it a quiet elegance and a wealth of meaning. The White Rose of York traces its roots to England’s Wars of the Roses — a long and bitter struggle between the House of York, symbolized by the white rose, and the House of Lancaster, symbolized by the red rose. The conflict ended not in further division, but in unity, through a marriage that joined the two houses and created the Tudor Rose — a lasting emblem of peace and reconciliation. From that lineage came Queen Elizabeth I, one of the most celebrated monarchs in British history. It was a symbol of friendship after separate paths, of unity after differences, and of beauty that endures through seasons — much like our own journey as a Court. The White Rose of York traces back to England’s Wars of the Roses, a series of civil conflicts between the House of York (symbolized by the white rose) and the House of Lancaster (symbolized by the red rose). The long conflict ended in a marriage that united the two houses, creating the Tudor Rose — a symbol of peace, unity, and reconciliation. For us, the White Rose stands for friendship after rivalry, unity after differences, and beauty that endures through seasons — much like our own journey from separate paths into one purpose-driven Court. Though we are a recognized Court of the Order of the Amaranth, our roots stretch beyond traditional boundaries. Our members are proudly affiliated with major humanitarian organizations like Rotary International, The Philippine Red Cross, and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). In these diverse spaces, we’ve laughed, served, and stood side-by-side through projects that remind us why we started in the first place: to serve with heart and to enjoy the journey. Our Court holds dear not just the Amaranthine values of Truth, Charity, Hope, and Love, but we also hold Servant Leadership and Compassion as our guiding principles. For us, titles are tools — not thrones. They are given so that we may reach more people and lift more lives, never as badges of pride, hierarchy, or to take dominion over others. Our projects span across:
✨ Medical Missions
✨ Youth Development Programs
✨ Fundraisers for Local and National Causes
✨ Workshops for Personal Growth and Self-Improvement
…and just as importantly, our own shared joy and friendship. Because ultimately, it’s the friendship — the jokes after a long day of service, the quiet moments of reflection, and the shared meals — that brought us together and keeps our White Rose blooming.
🌹 We’d love to meet you. 🌹
If you’re someone who believes in purpose-driven service, in showing up for others with love and humility — and you want to do it surrounded by people who feel like family — then perhaps your path leads here too. To join the Order of the Amaranth, you must be either:
• A Master Mason in good standing, or
• A woman related (by blood, marriage, or legal adoption) to a Master Mason in good standing — such as a wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, or sister.
