Isang karangalan para sa amin na makiisa sa adbokasiya ng BODAP sa pagsusulong ng karapatan, inklusyon, at pantay na oportunidad para sa lahat ng Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) at Children with Disabilities (CWDs).

Sama-sama nating ipagtaguyod ang isang komunidad na may paggalang, pagkakapantay-pantay, at walang naiiwan. 💙

ART FOR INCLUSION: Drawing Contest

Theme: "Talentong Walang Limitasyon: Bawat Guhit, Mahalaga"

July 16, 2026

The Brgy. BalonBato CWD Under Parents extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of our ART FOR INCLUSION: Drawing Contest. This meaningful event became a wonderful opportunity for our children with disabilities (CWDs) to express themselves through art, discover their hidden talents, and showcase their creativity and potential.

We sincerely thank our beloved Punong Barangay, Hon. Catherine Irene Gonzales Maglalang , for her unwavering support, encouragement, and commitment to promoting programs that empower and inspire children with disabilities and their families.

We also express our deepest appreciation to the dedicated members of the Sangguniang Barangay of Barangay Balong Bato, Quezon City, for their invaluable support and generosity:

We are also deeply grateful to Hon. Vic Bernardo, District 6 Councilor, for his generous support through the distribution of Pantry Packs and Nebulizers for our CWD families. These blessings provided much-needed assistance and brought comfort and hope to many households. Your kindness and compassion have made a meaningful difference in the lives of our beneficiaries.

This activity was more than just a drawing contest it was a celebration of inclusion, talent, and equal opportunity. It allowed our children to build confidence, express their emotions through art, and prove that disability is never a barrier to creativity and excellence.

The success of this project also serves as an important foundation for our organization's upcoming livelihood program, where selected artworks created by our talented children will inspire future livelihood products that will benefit the CWD community.

To all our volunteers, donors, parents, guests, and everyone who helped make this event successful, thank you for believing in our children and for standing with our organization. Your generosity, encouragement, and unwavering support continue to inspire us to create more meaningful programs for children with disabilities.

Together, we continue to build a community where every child is valued, every talent is celebrated, and every dream is given the opportunity to shine.

Magalang po naming ipinapaalala sa lahat na pakibasa at unawaing mabuti ang bawat anunsyo na ibinabahagi sa ating CWD Under Parents Organization Group Chat upang maging maayos ang ating koordinasyon at maiwasan ang hindi pagkakaunawaan.

🎨 KIDS ART DRAWING COMPETITION

Kasabay ng Gift Giving Pantry mula kay Hon. Councilor Vic Bernardo

Malugod po naming inaanyayahan ang ating mga Children with Disabilities (CWD) na:

18 taong gulang pababa, at

18 taong gulang pataas na nangangailangan pa rin ng gabay o pag-aalaga ng kanilang magulang o guardian,

na makiisa sa ating Kids Art Drawing Competition.

Layunin ng gawaing ito na mabigyan ang ating mga anak ng pagkakataong maipakita ang kanilang pagkamalikhain, maipahayag ang kanilang sarili sa pamamagitan ng sining, magkaroon ng bagong kaibigan, at makisalamuha sa kapwa nilang mga batang CWD.

Hindi po kailangang magaling o eksperto sa pagguhit. Ang pinakamahalaga ay ang kanilang masayang pakikilahok, pagsisikap, at ang pagkakataong maipakita ang kanilang sariling kakayahan. Para sa atin, bawat guhit ay natatangi at bawat batang CWD ay mahalaga.

📌📋 Rules and Regulations📌

📌Ang kalahok ay dapat kabilang sa CWD Under Parents

📌Kinakailangang magdala ng PWD ID sa registration.

📌Ang lahat ng drawing ay dapat sariling gawa ng bata.

📌Hindi maaaring iguhit o tapusin ng magulang, guardian, o sinumang kasama ang artwork ng kalahok.

📌Ang bawat magulang o guardian ay inaasahang samahan at bantayang mabuti ang kanilang anak sa buong programa upang matiyak ang kanyang kaligtasan at kapakanan.

📌Panatilihin po natin ang kaayusan at kalinisan ng lugar at sundin ang mga alituntunin ng organizers.

❤️ Layunin ng Aktibidad

Ang ating programa ay hindi lamang isang paligsahan sa pagguhit. Ito ay isang pagkakataon upang:

🎨 Maipakita ng ating mga anak ang kanilang talento at pagkamalikhain.

🤝 Makakilala at makisalamuha sa kapwa batang CWD.

💙 Mapalakas ang kanilang tiwala sa sarili at magkaroon ng masayang karanasan.

🌈 Mahikayat silang maging aktibo sa mga gawaing pangkomunidad sa isang ligtas at inklusibong kapaligiran.

📌 Mahalagang Paalala

Ang paglahok sa Kids Art Drawing Competition ay boluntaryo lamang at walang sapilitan.

Ang mga magulang o guardian na nais at may kakayahang makadalo ay maaaring ipalista ang kanilang anak bilang kalahok.

Lubos po naming nauunawaan at iginagalang na may ilang batang CWD na maaaring hindi makadalo dahil sa kanilang kondisyon, therapy, kalusugan, o iba pang mahahalagang dahilan. Nauunawaan at iginagalang po namin ang sitwasyon ng bawat pamilya.

Para naman po sa mga makakadalo, malugod po namin kayong hinihikayat na samahan ang inyong mga anak upang maranasan nila ang isang masaya, makabuluhan, at inklusibong aktibidad kasama ang iba pang batang CWD.

📌 Kung nais pong sumali ang inyong anak, pakilagay lamang ang kanyang pangalan sa listahan sa itaas.

Maraming salamat po sa inyong patuloy na suporta, pakikiisa, at pagtitiwala. Inaasahan po namin ang inyong pagdalo upang sama-sama nating mabigyan ang ating mga batang CWD ng isang ligtas, masaya, makabuluhan, at hindi malilimutang karanasan.

Courtesy Visit and Coordination Meeting with the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO)

Our organization recently conducted a courtesy visit and coordination meeting with PDAO Head, Ma’am Debbie Dacanay, to formally introduce our organization and discuss programs and initiatives for children with disabilities and their families.

During the meeting, Ma’am Debbie generously shared valuable insights, guidance, and important information regarding the proper processes and responsibilities that will help strengthen our organization and our advocacy. Her recommendations provided us with a clearer direction as we continue to serve and support the disability community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ma’am Debbie Dacanay for her warm welcome, encouragement, and commitment to promoting the rights, welfare, and inclusion of persons with disabilities.

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to Ma’am Weng Tamayo for being instrumental in connecting our organization with the PDAO.
