VOICE C.S.O. ACCREDITATION IN Q.C. BEARING FRUIT – Our accreditation as a Civil Society Organization (CSO) in Quezon City is opening new opportunities for collaboration. In light of recent incidents of violence and loss of life in public schools, there has been increasing interest from LGUs and DepEd in programs and modules of VOICE, such as values education classes, Anti-Bullying and Parenting seminars, and lessons on Kindness and Patience, Self-Discipline and Responsibility, and other character-building topics.

During recent consultations, accredited CSOs from the Religious Sector and other sectors (such as Academe and Culture) identified values education in barangays and schools as one of their priority program proposals. The Culture Sector also specifically highlighted Patriotism as an important value to promote—an area where VOICE has already developed a dedicated module.

Being an accredited CSO also allows VOICE to use Quezon City facilities for approved activities and to participate in the consultative process of shaping policies and community programs.

We encourage VOICE partners to consider applying for CSO accreditation as well. Regardless of an organization's size, each accredited CSO is given one vote and one seat in the consultative process, making every accredited partner an important voice in the community.

A meaningful step forward for values education!

Today marked the signing of a partnership in General Trias City, Cavite—a collaborative effort between the local government, the education sector, and community partners to strengthen values formation among students.
