Held on the second day, the Conference Dinner brought everyone together for an evening of fellowship, culture, and celebration.

Guests enjoyed a colorful and engaging performance by Folklorico, showcasing a variety of traditional Philippine dances. The evening grew even more lively as participants were invited to join the tinikling, creating shared moments of fun and cultural appreciation.

The night was serenaded by Project M, whose music set the tone throughout dinner and into the close of the evening.

With good food, great company, and refreshing drinks, it was a memorable night shared by all.

We give our heartfelt thanks to all our presenters in the parallel sessions at the SEAGC-AGSSEA Conference 2026. Thank you for bringing your expertise and insights to the community!

With the overarching theme “Advancing Geotechnics for a Resilient and Sustainable Future: Mitigating Multi-hazards amidst a Changing Climate,” seventy-four (74) research presentations were successfully delivered across four subthemes:
1. Underground Structures and Ground Improvement
2. Geotechnical Investigation and Slope Stabilization
3. Geo-Environmental Engineering and Disaster Mitigation
4. Digital Technologies and Numerical Modelling

We acknowledge the sweat, grit, and hard work behind each presentation, and we once again sincerely thank you for sharing your expertise. Together, we continue advancing geotechnics to meet the challenges of a changing climate.

🎉 The ISSMGE Panel Discussion was a highlight event at the SEAGC-AGSSEA Conference 2026!

Moderated by Dr. Mark Albert Zarco, key figures of ISSMGE, namely Prof. Jong-Sub Lee, Prof. Ikuo Towhata, Prof. Askar Zhussupbekov, Dr. Anil Joseph, and Dr. Keh-Jian (Albert) Shou, shared their insights in the session “Foundations for the Future: Vision for ISSMGE.”
The discussion explored key questions shaping the organization’s path forward:
1. In your opinion, what is the most outstanding achievement of ISSMGE in the last 4 years?
2. Where would you like to see ISSMGE go over the next 4 years?
3. What opportunities and challenges do you anticipate ISSMGE will face in the next 4 years?
4. What action should the leadership take in the next 4 years to realize the desired vision for ISSMGE?

We thank these leaders for their dedication and contributions to the ISSMGE, and we look forward with optimism to the society’s continued growth and impact.
