Today is National Single Parents Day…
you’re doing a job that was never meant to be done alone.
You’re the comfort and the discipline.
The provider and the safe place.
The one who shows up… even when you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, and running on empty.
There’s no “taking turns.”
No one to tap out with.
No one to split the mental load when it gets heavy.
It’s just you… figuring it out in real time.
And somehow,
the lunches still get packed,
the bills still get paid,
the tears still get wiped,
and your kids still feel loved.
That’s not small.
That’s not “just parenting.”
That’s strength most people will never fully understand.
So if no one has told you lately,
you’re doing an incredible job.
Even on the messy days.
Even on the quiet, lonely nights.
Even when you feel like it’s not enough.
It is.
