The IUCN National Committee of the Philippines held its first meeting for 2026 on February 10, 2026, at the Foundation for the Philippine Environment office.
During the meeting, members discussed the National Committee’s strategic plan, key activities and engagements for 2026, and pressing biodiversity issue that needs to be addressed immediately.
Notably, all participating organizations were represented by women — a meaningful and inspiring way to celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
