🕯️Kandili🕯️

Just like the trees in the mountains that stand tall, we, the Cluster 1 of BSN 3rd Year Nursing students of Our Lady of Fatima University, rooted ourselves in the community last November 18 as we immersed in the census, a vital part of our COPAR. We gathered data, listened to stories, and offered free vital signs to the residents of Sitio Wawa, Brgy. San Rafael, Montalban, Rizal.

Even the light drizzle could not dampen the warmth of the day; instead, it made the experience feel more alive, reminding us that growth always begins by getting our feet on the ground.

These moments reminded us why service rooted in compassion will always bear the sweetest fruits.

🌿 𝙇𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜🌿

The gentle glow of beginnings, this time, it was in the mountains of 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗪𝗮𝘄𝗮 (𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗯𝗮𝗻, 𝗥𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗹)

On October 9 and 10, the 3rd Year Nursing Students of 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟭 of 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 ’𝟮𝟱–’𝟮𝟲 of 𝗢𝗟𝗙𝗨-𝗤𝗖 ventured beyond the campus for their ocular visits, embracing what lies ahead in the community. The exact place stays untold for now, but the warmth of purpose already shines through. But to give you a clue, these student nurses in whites and blacks visited three communities: Brgy. 185 of Caloocan, Brgy. UP Campus of QC, and Brgy. Wawa of Montalban, Rizal.

In every laugh, videos, and little moment, we found light — and this is only the start.

🌾 𝙋𝙖𝙜𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙤𝙜 🌾

The descent that begins it all.

From the familiar walls to the pulse of the community, the 3rd Year Nursing Students of 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟭 of 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 ’𝟮𝟱–’𝟮𝟲 of 𝗢𝗟𝗙𝗨-𝗤𝗖, took their first real steps into the field on October 9 and 10 for their ocular visitation as part of the 𝗖𝗢𝗣𝗔𝗥.

Remember, beyond these pictures is the compassion that always starts from stepping down, reaching out, and being with the people.

🎬 Meet 𝑺𝒂𝒃 … 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆 (⁉️)

Behind every frame and take, there’s a this undeniable chaos, lots of laughter, and just enough repeats to make a good video. Here’s the part where things didn’t go as planned — and honestly, that’s what made it better.

From unplanned giggles to " 𝙖𝙣𝙤 𝙗𝙖, 𝙞𝙨𝙖 𝙥𝙖 𝙣𝙜𝙖 😤💢" this is us — real, messy, and our own kind of language.

🪞𝙒𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙨🪞

Take a look at the 3rd Year Nursing Students of 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟭, composed of 𝗗𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝟭, 𝟮, 𝟯, 𝟰, and 𝟱 from 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 ’𝟮𝟱–’𝟮𝟲 of 𝗢𝗟𝗙𝗨-𝗤𝗖 now stepping into a new journey: the Community Organizing Participatory Action Research (𝗖𝗢𝗣𝗔𝗥).

Beyond the uniforms and smiles lie stories of sleepless nights, countless requirements, and laughter that fuel our shared beginning. Each face carries anticipation, a spark of compassion, grit, and growth waiting to unfold. More than anything, this stands as a testament that even in the busiest halls of learning, we found not just classmates, but the future nurses we are proudly becoming.

Guided by dedication, the heads of the committees of 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 1-5 stands as the foundation and collaboration within from the 𝗗𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝟭-𝟱 of 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗱-𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 of 𝗢𝗟𝗙𝗨-𝗤𝗖 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 '𝟮𝟱-'𝟮𝟲. Each member carries the responsibility of ensuring that every work - 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮, 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘴, 𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘥, 𝘣𝘶𝘥𝘨𝘦𝘵, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘰𝘤𝘶𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 - reflects excellence, sincerity, and service.

Together, we strive not only to accomplish our duties as student nurses, but also to embody the true essence of pure, sincere, and wholehearted commitment to our calling as future nurses.

As future nurses, we are called to serve the community and the public. And what better way to embrace that calling than by immersing ourselves in the community itself? With open hearts and ready hands, we step beyond the classroom and into real-life experiences, learning, connecting, and making an impact.
