Senior Scout Aspirants Training: Back to the Basics
After a week of continuous rainfall, the Senior Scout Aspirants of West Fairview High School Outfit 132 resumed their skills training, turning the challenging weather conditions into an opportunity to strengthen their preparedness and resilience.
The training focused on essential camping skills, including tent pitching, tarp shelter making, and proper campfire lays. Through hands-on practice, the aspirants developed teamwork, resourcefulness, and confidence in setting up safe and functional shelters and fire lays—skills that every prepared Scout should master.
Despite the peevious rains, the spirit of Scouting remained strong: Be Prepared, stay resilient, and keep learning.
