On May 7, 2026, Grain Foundation for PWD Inc. (GFPI) took another step towards empowering Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) through its Phase 2 Diversification of Livelihood Strategies for PWDs and Their Households. This milestone was marked by a successful Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing with Barangay Pasong Putik, further solidifying our commitment to social inclusion and economic independence for PWDs.

The event was led by our Country Director Mr. Ann Hunggoo, attended by Barangay Captain Cordapio โ€œMikeโ€ Jamin, DPO Presidents Rod Bernas and Elizabeth Narisma, and DPO Focal Person Ms. Sheryl Ramos. Together, they engaged in a fruitful discussion on the projectโ€™s next steps, ensuring a collaborative approach moving forward.

GFPI continues to work relentlessly in elevating the lives of PWDs, one step closer to achieving its mission of creating a more inclusive and sustainable future for all.

On April 30, 2026, 112 PWDs and their households from Brgy. Commonwealth and Pasong Putik participated in the Diversification Project Phase 2 Orientation and Intake session. Grain Foundation for PWD Inc. led the orientation, with the intake interview following to ensure all participantsโ€™ comprehensive information was integrated into the project.

The Diversification of Livelihood Strategies for People with Disabilities and Their Households project is designed to offer diverse livelihood opportunities, equipping participants with the skills, resources, and support needed to achieve economic self-sufficiency and improve their quality of life.

Together, weโ€™re building a more inclusive and empowered future for PWD communities.

On April 23, 2026, the Concentrix Cyberwest team conducted a meaningful CSR activity in partnership with Grain Foundation for PWD Inc. ๐Ÿ’™

They generously donated school supplies to our beneficiaries under the JOY Disability Program, including bags, shoes, lunch boxes, and other essential materials that the children can use for the upcoming school year. ๐ŸŽ’๐Ÿ“š

Beyond the donations, the team also organized fun and engaging games for the children and their parents, complete with prizes and a shared meal that brought everyone together in a warm and joyful fellowship. ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ๐ŸŽ‰

Yesterdayโ€™s April meeting was a milestone for our Child Sponsorship Facilitators (CSF). As our program continues to grow, weโ€™ve elected a new set of volunteer leaders to help coordinate our efforts and keep our team organized.

The Child Letter Writing and Distribution activity was successfully conducted at Maligaya Elementary School (March 14, 16โ€“17), GFPI Center (March 18), and Vargas Hall & Champaca Covered Court (March 23โ€“24) for our sponsored children.

Through their drawings and writings, the children happily shared their dreams by drawing what they want to be when they grow up, along with their favorite subjects and the activities they enjoy doing with their friends at school.

We would like to thank our partners, Maligaya Elementary School and Barangay Pasong Putik for making it possible to reach our sponsored children with the resources that help them thrive.

We would also commend the efforts of the Child Sponsorship Facilitator (CSF) volunteers for their time and dedication that also contributed to the success of the activity.

A heartwarming reminder of their creativity, joy, and bright hopes for tomorrow.

The Child Sponsorship Facilitatorsโ€™ first monthly meeting was a success!

Their meeting was held at Vargas Hall, Pasong Putik. The Child Sponsorship Staff gave the CSFs detailed instructions in preparation for the Child Letter Writing and Distribution Activity. Each CSF was briefed on their responsibilities per station followed by a quick simulation to ensure a smooth process during the activity at Maligaya Elementary School and Champaca Covered Court.

The Inauguration Ceremony for Child Sponsorship Facilitator (CSF ) volunteers on March 2, 2026, at Dunamai Cafe marked the beginning of a meaningful journey. Each volunteer received their official CSF polo shirt along with a white plastic envelope with a handle containing their ID, notebook, and ballpen, designed to support the Sponsorship Team in guiding and assisting the sponsored children.

Now in its second year, BSPโ€™s CSR initiative continues to create meaningful impact by supporting organizations that uplift communities.
