The Officer Candidate School Alumni Association, Inc. (OCSAAI) family joins together in deep sorrow and sympathy over the untimely passing of our esteemed alumnus, CAPT PAULIE B DUMAGAN, PAF, one of our distinguished awardee during the 37th OCSAAI Annual General Assembly and National Convention last 21 June 2025.
CAPT DUMAGAN will be remembered not only for his dedication and exemplary service in the Philippine Air Force, but also for his humility, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the ideals and values of the Officer Candidate School. His legacy of professionalism and compassion continues to inspire fellow alumni and future generations of Officers.
As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life well-lived in the service of God, country, and people. The OCSAAI extends its heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family, comrades, and loved ones. May they find strength and comfort in knowing that they are not alone in this time of grief, and that his OCSAAI Family stands with them in prayer and solidarity.

OCS Alumni Golf Club Holds Successful Mid-Year Tournament

The OCS Alumni Golf Club, led by its Club President, COL EMIL ZOSA PA (Ret), successfully held its Mid-Year Golf Tournament on 09 August 2025 (Saturday) at the Camp Aguinaldo Golf Course.

The event was filled with camaraderie, friendly competition, and lively interaction among alumni as they showcased their skills on the fairways. Following the game, participants gathered for a hearty lunch and an awarding ceremony to recognize outstanding performances.

Enhancing Collaboration Among Alumni Associations

The Officer Candidate School Alumni Association, Inc. (OCSAAI) Board led by its President, COL RUMEL D FLOJO PAF, together with the Chairpersons and Presidents of various alumni associations under the Assembly of Service Academies and Schools Alumni Association of the Philippines (ASASAAP) paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Philippine National Police, GEN NICOLAS TORRE III, at the PNP Headquarters, Camp Crame, Quezon City.

During the courtesy call, the OCSAAI Board also met with one of its fellow alumni still in active service with the PNP — PBGEN MARCELO B DAYAG PNP, Director of the PNP Training Service, and a proud member of AFPOCS “Marangal” Class 7 – 1991.

This collaborative engagement underscores the unity in diversity among the different alumni associations, fostering stronger ties and shared commitment to national service.

During the meeting, the Chief PNP showcased the police force’s rapid emergency response capability, demonstrating how dialing 911 from any location in the country can elicit a police response within five (5) minutes. The delegation expressed their appreciation for the PNP’s dedication and efficiency in safeguarding the public and responding promptly to emergencies.

OCSAAI Board Holds Monthly Meeting to Advance Members’ Welfare

The Officer Candidate School Alumni Association, Inc. (OCSAAI) successfully conducted its monthly Board Meeting on 31 July 2025, starting at 1700H, through a hybrid setup combining face-to-face and video teleconference (VTC).

Presided over by MGEN RAMON P. ZAGALA PA, OCSAAI Chairperson, the meeting focused on discussions of programs and initiatives designed to benefit the Association’s more than 12,000 members.

This continuing monthly engagement highlights the OCSAAI Board’s unwavering commitment to advancing the welfare of its members and strengthening the bonds of camaraderie and service within the Alumni Association.
