The apostles were not perfect. Peter doubted. Matthew had past. James and John sought greatness. Yet Jesus called them anyway.

Perhaps that is the good news we need today. God is not waiting for us to become perfect before He calls us. He calls us now, and through His grace, transforms us into who we are meant to be.

God qualifies those He calls.

The Eucharist is powerful and transformative. It is meant to impact our whole being, our behavior, and how we love others. We are called to live out a Eucharistic Spirituality, bringing the spirit of the Mass into our everyday lives.

Just as the bread and wine are transformed, let us pray that we, too, are transformed into a stronger community of faith, hope, and love.

True peace begins when we allow the Holy Spirit to heal us, teach us forgiveness, and fill us with love. Without forgiveness, there can be no real peace.

May we never lose sight of the true fruits of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, and kindness, as we continue our mission to bring peace and healing beyond our community.
