Humble beginning
ΑΦΩ is the world’s largest service-oriented fraternity and sorority. Founded at Easton Pennsylvania, USA on Dec, 1925. It was introduced in the philippines after the World War II and organized by an Eagle Scout on March, 1950.
Alpha Phi Omega - Xi Omicron Chapter (Far Eastern University - Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation) was founded on May 12, 2006 by 3 brothers from Alpha Chapter, Theta Sigma Chapter, and Mu Pi Chapter. On April 14, 2019 it was officially recognized during the 8th board of trustees regular meeting as XI OMICRON charter no. 349
currently it accepts medical students as pledges and produced numerous alumni that has excelled in their chosen field carrying the 3 guiding principles of Alpha Phi Omega, Leadership, Friendship, and Service.
the residents of the Chapter continue to live by the Doctrines and Traditions that have been taught to them which they use in their studies and daily lives. Presently they are active to various medical missions and community services.
