POWER 101 Day 2: Learning from Renewable Energy, Building Stronger Partnerships**
On the second day, June 11, 2026 of POWER101, Indigenous Peoples leaders and community representatives from across the country visited the Ambuklao Hydroelectric Power Plant in Benguet to gain firsthand insights into renewable energy generation, environmental stewardship, and sustainable development.
More than a plant tour, the experience provided an opportunity for meaningful dialogue, knowledge-sharing, and a deeper understanding of how responsible energy development can coexist with the recognition and respect of Indigenous Peoples’ rights.
TRICAP extends its sincere gratitude to SN Aboitiz Power (SNAP) for opening its doors to our Indigenous leaders and for fostering a platform that promotes learning, partnership, and mutual understanding.
Together, we continue to build bridges between Indigenous Cultural Communities and the energy sector—toward a future that is sustainable, inclusive, and respectful of Indigenous Peoples’ rights.
