Every milestone is worth celebrating, and every new beginning is worth honoring. On August 22, 2025, we proudly joined the Rotary Club of Constitution Hillโ€“Bagong Sandigan in celebrating its 11th Charter Anniversary and Club Induction Ceremony.

The evening highlighted not only the rich history of service since the clubโ€™s chartering but also the welcoming of our Korean sister club, Rotary Club of Daejeon Donghai, from Rotary International District 3680. This international fellowship serves as a reminder that service knows no borders and that together, we create a stronger global impact.

The celebration also marked the beginning of a new chapter of leadership under President Kenix Franklin Raspado, whose term will surely bring forth fresh vision and dedication. Engagement and accountability are essential in building a stronger Rotaract movement. On August 19, 2025, the Rotaract Club of Bagong Sandigan had the honor of welcoming our District Rotaract Representative (DRR) during the official DRR Visit at the Rotary Center D3780.

The visit began with a valuable one-on-one meeting between the DRR and our Club President, Christian Paul Mendoza, where they discussed in depth the clubโ€™s direction, challenges, and opportunities for growth. This was then followed by the formal presentation of the clubโ€™s goals and projects for the entire Rotary Year, aligning our plans with the districtโ€™s vision for service and leadership.

The DRR Visit was not only about reporting milestones but also about strengthening the spirit of collaboration and commitment within District 3780. With the guidance and support of our district leaders, we are ready to embrace the year with greater passion and purpose. ๐ŸŒŸ

Last July 6, we returned to the Sitio Cucong Child Development Center in Doรฑa Remedios Trinidad, Bulacanโ€”a place we first visited last year for a community needs assessment. Back then, what we discovered deeply moved us: a daycare with no electricity, no electric fans, and an environment so hot and uncomfortable that it hindered childrenโ€™s ability to learn. That experience left us with a promise in our heartsโ€”to come back and respond to those needs with action.

Despite heavy rains and muddy roads, our journey back was one of commitment and compassion. This time, together with the Interact Club of Judge Feliciano Belmonte Sr. High School and most importantly with the support of our sponsoring club, the Rotary Club of Constitution Hillโ€“Bagong Sandigan, we brought electric fans to provide comfort, solar and electricity supplies to bring power, school supplies and manipulative toys to enrich learning, and nutritional supplements for both children and their mothers to promote holistic well-being. Each item carried with it more than utilityโ€”it carried hope, care, and the message that even the smallest corners of our nation deserve attention and love.

More than just a gift-giving project, this day was about the fulfillment of a promise. A promise that no matter how far or how difficult the road, we will show up for communities that need us most. A promise that compassion is best expressed through action. And a promise that the smiles of children, now learning in a brighter and more comfortable space, will always remind us why we serve. ๐ŸŒŸ

Knowledge is power, and awareness saves lives. Last June 29, 2025, the Rotaract community united for Project SAFE is the New Sexy, a collaborative initiative led by RAC QC MediaTech alongside partners with various Rotaract clubs, and the SK of Brgy. San Isidro Galas.

The event featured a vital discussion on the history of HIV and AIDS, focusing on prevention, protection, and breaking the stigma that continues to surround it. Following the talk, participants were also allowed to undergo free HIV testing, ensuring not just awareness but also proactive health action.

Representing the club, President Christian Paul Mendoza attended and participated in the event, highlighting the commitment of RAC Bagong Sandigan as we continue to push the advocacy that being informed is empowering, and that safety and responsibility will always be the true measure of confidence. โค๏ธ
