SI Antipolo Unveils Public Awareness Markers in Antipolo City

In a significant stride toward strengthening community visibility and advocacy, the Soroptimist International of Antipolo proudly unveiled two official Soroptimist markers today as part of its ongoing Public Awareness drive. The installation of these markers underscores the Club’s commitment to advancing its mission of empowering women and girls through education, leadership, and service.

The unveiling ceremony was attended by Club officers and members, who gathered to witness this milestone event. The markers, made possible through the dedicated leadership and inspiration of Club Pres. Lita Macalalad, are strategically placed in Antipolo City and serve not only as symbols of the Club’s enduring presence but also as beacons of hope and inspiration for the community.

Club leaders emphasized that the initiative reflects Soroptimist International’s global vision of creating awareness and fostering partnerships that uplift women and girls. By establishing visible markers, the Club aims to strengthen its identity and encourage more individuals to engage with its programs and advocacies.

Walk for Women 2026 is officially a success. 💗

On March 22, 2026, we gathered for Soroptimist International of Antipolo’s 3rd Annual Walk for Women: Walk the Talk, held in celebration of Women’s Month; a meaningful initiative dedicated to raising funds for our PSALM Scholars and our educational outreach programs for the Canumay community of Antipolo.

Not just a campaign or a fundraiser, this walk is a manifestation of who we are as Soroptimists. Women coming together, supporting one another, and reaching out to create real and lasting change for women and girls, today and for generations to come.

In partnership with LeBlanc Hotel and Resort, we celebrated strength, empowerment, and community one step at a time.

Our deepest gratitude to everyone who showed up, supported, donated, and walked with purpose. This meaningful morning would not have been possible without all of you.

Congratulations as well to our dedicated Walk for Women Team for leading another successful year, and to our committed leaders:WalkforWomen Chair Mikaela Ordas Hallare, New Member and our very talented host Cherry Dawal Ostonal, President Lita Macalalad, Dir. Cyd Marquez, Treasurer Bing de Jesus.

Together, we continue to walk the talk! For women, for girls, and for a brighter future!

Soroptimist International of Antipolo continues to support women from its adopted community, Barangay Dela Paz, Antipolo City, through the MATibay na Hanapbuhay – Mat/Rug Making Livelihood Project, which has been empowering local mothers since its launch on March 5, 2022.

Through this initiative, the Nanays of the community create functional and beautifully crafted rugs and mats, providing them with an additional source of income to help support their families, especially during challenging economic times. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Treasurer Bing de Jesus for generously dedicating her time and effort in supervising and guiding our hardworking weavers.

LOVE. CARE. HOPE.
Empowering women, strengthening communities. 💙
