🎓 Schools should be safe spaces for everyone. 💛

Ang pagkakaroon ng HIV ay hindi dapat maging dahilan para ma-exclude, maparusahan, o tratuhing iba ang isang student.

Under RA 11166, the Philippine HIV and AIDS Policy Act of 2018, bawal sa schools at learning institutions ang discrimination dahil sa actual, perceived, or suspected HIV status ng isang student.

Ibig sabihin, hindi puwedeng:
❌ Tanggihan ang admission
❌ I-expel o i-segregate ang student
❌ Bigyan ng mas mabigat na disciplinary action
❌ I-deny ang benefits, services, o opportunities

Ang inclusive school ay isang space kung saan puwedeng matuto, mag-grow, at humingi ng support ang students nang walang takot sa stigma o discrimination. 📚🌈

HIV does not erase someone's right to love, care, dignity, and community. And no one should have to face a health concern alone because they are afraid of being judged or rejected. Let's build communities where people don't have to hide when they need help. 🫶

Hindi kailangan matakot sa taong may HIV. What we need is accurate information, accessible prevention, and less stigma. 🧡

HIV is not transmitted through hugs, handshakes, sharing food, kissing, or simply being around someone living with HIV. And remember: U=U. When a person living with HIV is on effective treatment and maintains an undetectable viral load, they do not s*xually transmit HIV.

Unpredictable talaga ang panahon, kaya kung kailangan nating lumabas, let’s take a little extra time to look after ourselves. Bring your umbrella, raincoat, extra clothes, and other rain essentials, and stay updated sa weather advisories in your area.

At kung may plans kayo with your partner or friends, take care of each other, too. Check in, communicate, and make choices that keep everyone safe and comfortable. Whether it’s staying in, postponing plans, or practicing safer s*x, walang masama sa pag-aalaga sa sarili at sa isa’t isa. 🫶

📉 Bumaba ng 38% ang bilang ng mga taong nagsimula sa PrEP mula 2024 hanggang 2025, ayon sa UNAIDS.

Ayon sa UNAIDS, isa sa mga pangunahing dahilan nito ang pagbawas ng pondo para sa HIV programs, na nakaapekto sa access sa PrEP, HIV testing, at community-led outreach. Kapag kulang ang investment sa prevention at sa mga organisasyong nasa komunidad, mas maraming tao ang hindi naaabot ng life-saving HIV services.

Pero hindi pa huli ang lahat. 💛
