GUIDING PRINCIPLES
It is the organizationโs belief that the intergenerational approach to building a Culture of Peace is one of the keys to achieving a peaceful society. Teach Peace Build Peace Movement creates different generations of peace heroes towards our goal of having a just and peaceful society. We have to teach peace to build peace with the aim of transforming and empowering the younger generations to be prime movers and look at our society through lenses of peace. We believe that every child and youth has an innate quality of tolerance and unbiasedness and that prejudice is subsequently learned later in life. It is vital that we develop their ability to foster peace in this critical period with an integration of understanding and appreciating cultural and religious diversity, history, and a lifestyle of peace regardless of culture, faith, gender, or heritage, will choose a peaceful co-existence and positive path.
