Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are considered the critical drivers for the country. They are a major contributing force to our countryโ€™s investment and economic growth, job creation, taxation, productivity enhancement and technological innovation. Seeing how difficult it is to start a business in our country, our MSMEs have found themselves in the margins of development. This proved t

he need for empowerment towards the realization of inclusive growth by ensuring that they actively both contribute and benefit from it. CSR Philippines aims to assist them in finding a solution to concerns such as limited financial support, low productivity and competitiveness, limited management and financial capabilities as well as the lack of access to new technology. Through public and private collaborations, CSR Philippines and its partner organizations aim to improve the business environment, increase access to finance, allow pe*******on to new markets, expand existing ones and raise the level of productivity and efficiency using ethical, results-based management approach. To carry out this mission, four committees were formed namely, the Formation, Operations, Communication and Legal committees aimed at jumpstarting initiatives on skills and values development, finance and business compliance, legislative, public relations and policies. To complement the realization of the said goals, CSR Philippines introduced the Citizen Tax Planning (CTP) certification
program. Geared towards genuine tax reform, CSR Philippines desires legislative, administrative and enterprise level reforms built on indispensable core values of integrity and honesty. CSR Philippines is committed to encourage each and every Filipino entrepreneur to be engines of change as we collectively improve the ease of doing business in the country. We believe in strengthening Filipino MSMEs in the hope of making them prime movers in the world of business in order to establish a progressive and sustainable economy propelled by entrepreneurship. All in the spirit of true nation-building.
