A Day of Hope, Warmth, and Shared Blessings: Our Outreach Program at Sacred Heart Center
Earlier today, December 1, 2025, our Q-Bagwis Fairview OCHO Executive Eagles Club had the privilege of spending our club anniversary and make it a meaningful and heartwarming day with the wonderful children of Sacred Heart Center, located at 10 Lilac St., Fairview, QC. It was more than just an outreach program, it was a reminder of the power of compassion, the beauty of simple joys, and the profound impact we can make when we choose to share what we have.
We came with the intention of feeding 150 children with Down syndrome and other neurodevelopmental conditions along with the teachers, staff and parents, and of donating 250 kilograms of rice, grocery items, and Christmas gift baskets. But what we received in return was something far greater: genuine smiles, pure gratitude, and an overwhelming sense of hope.

🌟 Moments That Touched Our Hearts
Every outreach is special, but today had its own magic.
One of the students sang a line that resonated deeply with us:
“What a journey it has been
And the end is not in sight
But the stars are out tonight
And they're bound to guide my way.”
Hearing these words from a child whose courage shines brighter than any challenge reminded us that each life is a journey guided by unseen stars; faith, love, and the kindness of people willing to walk beside them. Their voices reminded us that in every difficult path, there is light. And in every small act of giving, we become part of that light.
Another student sang another heartfelt line:
“Lord, I hope this day is good
I'm feelin' empty and misunderstood
I should be thankful, Lord, I know I should
But Lord, I hope this day is good.”
These simple yet powerful words reminded us why we serve. There are children who wake up every day feeling unseen, unheard, or unsure of their place in the world. If our presence, our gifts, or even just our listening ears could make this one day “good” for them, then we have done something truly meaningful.

❤️ A Family That Welcomed Us Like Their Own
The warmth of the Sacred Heart family embraced us the moment we arrived. Their staff, teachers, and volunteers radiate a kind of dedication that cannot be taught, it comes from the heart.
And the children…
Their enthusiasm, their hugs, their laughter, and their unwavering sincerity reminded us why giving is a privilege, not an obligation. To be welcomed so openly is a blessing we will always carry with us.

🤝 The Power of Sharing
We also extend our deepest gratitude to our generous partners and sponsors: GV Florida Transport, INC., Zion Hauler and Transporter OPC, Auto Ventures Car Display Center, Auto Ventures Group of Companies, RCB Secondhand Cars Display, and everyone who contributed. Your support allowed us not only to feed these children but to bring them joy, comfort, and the spirit of Christmas.
Today reminded us of one timeless truth:
No act of sharing is ever too small.
A single gift can brighten a child’s day.
A simple meal can make someone feel valued.
A moment of attention can heal a heart.
And when many people give, even in little ways, the impact becomes life-changing.

🌠 Carrying the Light Forward
As we look back on this beautiful day, we are filled with gratitude and renewed purpose. The journey of helping others does not end here, and we don’t want it to. There are more lives to touch, more smiles to share, more stars to follow as they guide our way.
To everyone who supported this outreach, thank you for believing in the power of kindness.
To the Sacred Heart Center, thank you for giving us the privilege to serve.
And to the children, thank you for reminding us of what really matters.
What a journey it has been… and the end is not in sight.
Because when hearts choose to give, the journey of kindness goes on forever.
