The Student Union Building’s classroom echoed with hopes and minds awakened during this year’s 𝐏𝐮𝐧𝐨'𝐭 𝐃𝐮𝐥𝐨, hosted by the 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 - 𝐔𝐏 𝐃𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫.

The event featured three distinguished professionals, namely: 𝐀𝐫. 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨 𝐌𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐓. 𝐎𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐨 𝐈𝐈𝐈, 𝐀𝐫. 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐳 𝐉𝐫., and 𝐀𝐫. 𝐏𝐚𝐨𝐥𝐨 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐰 𝐂. 𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐰𝐚, who toured the audience through the ins and outs of heritage conservation.

Present with them are students from different colleges in UP Diliman, as well as the HCS Youth Chapters of Tarlac State University and the University of Santo Tomas. Altogether, the eagerness to learn and the passion to impart vital knowledge combined, shape a future that always remembers.

[STATEMENT ON 53RD YEAR COMMEMORATING MARTIAL LAW AND NATIONAL DAY OF PROTEST]

Nakikiisa ang Heritage Conservation Society - UP Diliman Chapter sa panawagan tutol sa katiwalian at matagalang pagkawalambahala sa buwis at paghihirap ng taumbayan.

53 na taon na ang nakalipas sa pagdeklara ng Batas Militar sa rehimen ni Ferdinand Marcos Sr., at nararapat na patuloy nating panagutin at alalahanin ang malawakang pagkakasala at pangangabuso sa mga Pilipino. Hindi natin dapat tinatanggap ang pagkalimot sa ating kasaysayan, at ang dahilan sa patuloy na presensya ng mga kurakot sa pamahalaan.

Ang pamahalaan ng bayan ay para sa Pilipino, at hindi sa sariling interes. Bilang isang organisasyon na pinaninindigan ang identidad at kultura ng sariling bansa, inaanyayahan namin ang lahat na makiisa at tumindig laban sa rumaragasang bilang ng mga opisyal na nangungupit sa pera ng taumbayan.

LAHAT NG KURAKOT, DAPAT MANAGOT!
