Online Oathtaking of the New Agriculturists

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) informs the new Agriculturists that the conduct of the online special oathtaking will be on May 12, 2026, at 10:00 A.M., which will be spearheaded by PRC-Tuguegarao via Microsoft Teams or Zoom.

Inductees shall wear formal or business attire and use a white backdrop (white physical or virtual background) throughout the oathtaking ceremony.

Please secure an online appointment schedule at https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and select “e-OATH” as transaction. Inductees are required to print the "OATH OF PROFESSIONAL" form downloadable from the PRC official website under PRC Online Services.

🌶️ 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐒𝐈𝐋𝐈: 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐒𝐄𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝐒𝐔𝐂𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐒! 🌶️

𝘈𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘭 16, 2026, marked a meaningful milestone as we proudly celebrated the successful launch and harvest festival of Project Sili, a pioneering demonstration production initiative in the National Capital Region!

🌱 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐢 is the result of a strong and inspiring collaboration among the Department of Agriculture (DA), Philippine Association of Agriculturists (PAA), Inc. – NCR Chapter, Quezon City University – Center for Urban Agriculture Innovations (QCU – CUAI), De La Salle Araneta University (DLSAU), Farm–Ready, and Enviro Scope Synergy Inc. Together, we have brought to life the first pilot demonstration project of its kind led by a regional chapter association and its partners in NCR. It is a testament to what collaboration and innovation can achieve in strengthening urban food security. From planting the first seeds to celebrating a bountiful harvest, this initiative reflects our shared commitment to sustainable and resilient urban agriculture.

🧑‍🌾 This milestone event brought together urban farmers of Quezon City, students, partners from government agencies (i.e., DA-ATI, BPI, NUPAP, and BuCor), and private companies. Their presence made the celebration even more meaningful as we highlighted the importance of collaboration in advancing urban agriculture.

🎉 The event officially kicked off with the ceremonial launch led by Dr. Theresita Atienza, QCU President, together with Mr. Al Christian Hilario, PAA NCR President, with the support of DA Secretary, Francisco P. Tiu Laurel, Jr. The launching event demonstrated a strong symbol of unity among academic institutions, professional organizations, and government leadership.

📚 Participants also benefited from project forums and a seminar on basic urban food production facilitated by PAA-NCR Officers and private company partners from Farm-Ready and Enviro Scope Synergy Inc., reinforcing knowledge-sharing and empowering communities to adopt sustainable food practices.

🌾 The harvest festival was not just a celebration of crops, but of partnerships, knowledge-sharing, and community spirit that continue to drive this project forward.
