The Society of Jesus in the Philippines invites you to the Eucharistic Celebration of the Solemnity of St. Ignatius of Loyola at the Ateneo de Manila University Junior High School Covered Courts on 26 July 2026, Sunday, at 3:00pm. Fr. Xavier L. Olin, SJ will be the presider and Fr. Karel S. San Juan, SJ will be the homilist.

The Mass will be livestreamed through "Radyo Katipunan" on Facebook and "JescomTV" on Youtube.

Guests without Ateneo Campus IDs are kindly asked to present this e-invitation at the campus gate for access.

Last night, the PJAA staff had the joy of joining the Thanksgiving Mass and dinner of the newly ordained priest, Fr. Bien Cruz, SJ.

We celebrated the Holy Mass at San Roque de Navotas Parish and later shared a wonderful dinner at their residence together with his family, friends, and fellow Jesuit priests.

We thank God for Fr. Bien’s vocation and the gift of his priesthood. May the Lord continue to bless and guide him in all his missions and ministries as he faithfully serves God's people.

Today, we were delighted to welcome Retired Justice Virgilio Abejo to the PJAA office. He personally visited to make his generous donation and humbly asked for our prayers as he and his beloved wife prepare to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary—a remarkable milestone of love, fidelity, and grace.

Justice Abejo has long shared a special bond with the Jesuits. His wedding was officiated by Fr. Luis Torralba, SJ, his 40th wedding anniversary was celebrated by Fr. Jess Fernandez, SJ, and his 50th by Fr. Herb Schneider, SJ. These cherished connections have accompanied him and his wife through many significant moments in their married life.

We warmly congratulate Justice Abejo and his wife on this diamond anniversary. We assure them of our prayers for continued happiness, good health, and abundant blessings upon them and their family.

Today, the newly ordained, Fr. Bien Cruz, SJ, celebrated a Thanksgiving Mass with the PJAA staff.

In his reflection, Fr. Bien expressed his gratitude for the support and dedication of the staff. He reminded us of the importance of our work and how it contributes to the mission of forming Jesuits for service to the Church and society.

He even joked that, given how often he visits our office, he already considers himself part of the PJAA staff—a remark that brought smiles to everyone present.

Together, we prayed for our work, our mission, and the generous benefactors whose support makes all of this possible.

Following the Mass, we shared a simple merienda, during which Fr. Bien regaled us with stories and reflections, making the gathering even more meaningful and joyful.

We thank God for the gift of Fr. Bien's vocation and priesthood, and we continue to pray for him as he begins this new chapter of ministry.
