🏅 Bayanihan Youth for Peace (BYP) Leadership Awards Conferment
🎓 Recognition Day of the Student Affairs and Services (SAS) and National Service Training Program (NSTP)

Bayanihan Youth for Peace (BYP) proudly participated in the Recognition Day of the Student Affairs and Services (SAS) and National Service Training Program (NSTP) at Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) – Manila Campus through the conferment of the BYP Leadership Awards.

Representing BYP, Ms. Rechelyn Pacson, BYP Board Member, and Ms. Joan Bagasala, Programs Director, presented awards to 15 outstanding NSTP students. The students were recognized through the ❤️ Heart Leadership Award, 🕊️ Service for Peace Award, 🌱 Young Peacemaker Award, and ⭐ Youth Peace Leadership Award, honoring their exemplary leadership, peacebuilding efforts, community service, and commitment to creating a positive social impact.

🤝 The event also reaffirmed the strong partnership between BYP and the EAC NSTP Department, with both organizations exchanging Certificates of Appreciation in recognition of their continued collaboration in promoting youth leadership, volunteerism, values formation, and peace education.

💙 Bayanihan Youth for Peace extends its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Renato Guerrero, NSTP Coordinator, for his invaluable partnership and unwavering commitment to youth development; Dr. Connie Luciano, Dean of Student Affairs and Services (SAS), for her support and warm hospitality; and Dr. Ellen Salac, Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA), for her continued encouragement and support of initiatives that empower young leaders and promote peace education.

Together, we continue to inspire the next generation of leaders committed to Service. Peace. Nation-Building. 🇵🇭✨

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing fathers around the world!

Today, we honor the men whose love, sacrifice, and quiet strength help build strong families, strong character, and strong communities. A father’s love is one of God’s greatest gifts to humanity — steadfast, protective, guiding, dependable, and somehow capable of fixing almost anything... except maybe the Wi-Fi when everyone is watching. 😄

From the heart of BYP, we recognize fathers as pillars of character, responsibility, and service. They are often the silent heroes who carry burdens without complaint, work tirelessly behind the scenes, and teach by example that true leadership begins with serving others.

To our fathers, grandfathers, brothers, uncles, mentors, and all men who embrace the responsibility of caring for others with a parent's heart: thank you. Thank you for the long hours, the silent sacrifices, the words of wisdom, the lessons learned through experience, the protection, the encouragement, and even those classic father speeches that somehow start with a simple question and end up becoming a life lesson. 😂

The world often looks for solutions through power, wealth, or influence, but lasting change begins in the family. A father helps teach courage before comfort, responsibility before privilege, integrity before success, and purpose before popularity. Through his example, children learn what it means to stand firm in their values while living for the sake of others.

If more people embraced the heart of a true father — a heart that protects, provides, serves, and takes responsibility for the well-being of others — our communities would be stronger, our divisions would be smaller, and our world would move closer to becoming One Family Under God.

Fathers remind us that strength is not measured by dominance, but by responsibility; not by power, but by the willingness to sacrifice for others. Their love helps build the foundation upon which families, communities, and nations can thrive.

So today, we honor all fathers — those who are with us, those who have guided us, and those whose legacy continues to inspire us. Your influence reaches farther than you may ever know. The values you pass on today help shape the leaders, peacemakers, and citizens of tomorrow.

May God bless all fathers with strength, wisdom, good health, joy, and perhaps a little extra patience when explaining the same thing for the fifth time... only to hear, “Oh, now I get it!” 😅

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mothers around the world! ❤️🌸
Today, we honor the women whose love quietly builds the very foundation of strong families, strong character, and strong communities. A mother’s love is one of God’s greatest gifts to humanity — patient, sacrificial, forgiving, strong, and somehow still functioning even after the everyday “Ma, where’s my charger again?” emergency that somehow happens more often than it should 😄

From the heart of BYP, we recognize mothers as the first builders of character, faith, and service. They are the unseen leaders who shape future citizens not through position or title, but through love, discipline, and daily sacrifice.

To our mothers, grandmothers, sisters, aunties, mentors, and all women who nurture others with a parent’s heart: thank you. Thank you for the sleepless nights, the silent prayers she made for her family, the meals that appeared like miracles, the quiet guidance, the discipline, the hugs, the sacrifices, and even the classic “I’m not angry… I’m just disappointed” moments that somehow teach life lessons deeper than words ever could. 😂

True nation-building does not begin in government halls or institutions — it begins at home, at the center of which stands the heart of a mother. A mother teaches us how to love before we even understand words. She forms kindness before success, compassion before competition, and faith before fear.

If more hearts were shaped by the spirit of a true mother — one that embraces, forgives, serves, and builds others as family — then communities would be stronger, divisions would fade, and humanity would move closer to becoming One Family Under God.

Mothers remind us that love is not weakness; it is the strongest force for transformation, healing, and rebuilding society.

So today, we honor all mothers — those with us physically, those guiding us spiritually, and those watching over us from heaven. Your love continues to shape lives, build character, and form the future more than words can ever measure.

📢✨ Leadership through Service and Volunteerism Seminar ✨📢

On March 7, 2026, Bayanihan Youth for Peace was invited by Emilio Aguinaldo College–Manila (EAC–Manila) to serve as guest speakers for the NSTP students. More than 150 first-year students participated in the seminar entitled “Leadership through Service and Volunteerism: Moral and Innovative Leadership,” delivered by Mr. Antonio A. Soria.

The talk encouraged the youth to become morally grounded and innovative leaders by embracing service, volunteerism, and community involvement. Through this meaningful engagement, students were inspired to take active roles in promoting peace, unity, and positive change in their communities.

We extend our gratitude to EAC–Manila for the opportunity to once again share our advocacy in empowering the youth through leadership and service. 🤝💙
