Welcoming KPKK’s incoming officers.

Our strength has always come from pure passion and the power of our community. Today, we’re taking an important step forward by introducing the incoming officers joining us to strengthen our foundation and broaden our reach:

Laurence Teologo — Incoming Executive Director (Strategic Communications & Partnerships)

Wilbur Lang — Incoming Creative Designer (Product & Brand Identity)

Atty. Rowell Ilagan — Incoming Trustee (Legal Advocacy, Public Education & Reform)

Chary Mercado — Incoming Trustee (Community Outreach & Child Welfare Advocacy)

Each of these leaders joins us purely as a volunteer, choosing to dedicate their valuable time and expertise to our mission despite their busy work schedules.

Nothing is truly waste until we give up on its potential. 💡♻️

KPKK x Plastics Manila Automat are officially joining forces!

By merging textile upcycling with plastic repurposing, two QC Green Award champions are stepping up to transform discarded materials into innovative, eco-friendly solutions for all.

This isn't just about upcycling—it's about inspiring a mindset shift.

Two organizations. Two waste streams. One circular movement. 🧵♻️🌿

IMAGINE BEING IN HIGH SCHOOL—AND CHOOSING TO BE THE LIFELINE FOR AN ENTIRE MOVEMENT. 🌟

A year ago, high school student Rafaela Infante launched Common Threads Collective, driven by a vision of conscious fashion, sustainability, and grassroots change.

While we at Kaunlaran para sa Kultura + Kalikasan (KPKK) continue to face the daunting challenge of maintaining our livelihood center and securing salaries for our dedicated facilitators, Rafaela saw a way to help, she designated KPKK as the sole beneficiary of Common Threads Collective’s fundraising event last August 8, 2026.

Despite severe weather, a warm and dedicated community gathered—drawn together by the shared belief that real purpose transcends any storm.

Rafaela’s movement is a powerful reminder that transformative impact carries no age requirement. Real change doesn't wait for permission or the perfect timing; it simply begins when a young leader has the vision to care and the courage to take action.

To Rafaela Infante, her mom Lia Infante, and every single person who braved the weather to support Common Threads Collective: thank you for turning passion into purpose, and for helping breathe continued life into the KPKK movement when we needed it most. 💚✨
