๐ŸŒง๏ธ BE READY. STAY INFORMED. STAY SAFE, GARDNERIANS! ๐Ÿšจ

Emergencies and severe weather can happen when we least expect them. Thatโ€™s why being prepared before disaster strikes can make a big difference.
From knowing the right emergency hotlines, practicing important precautionary measures, to preparing your Emergency Go Bagโ€”every little step counts.

๐Ÿ“ž SAVE THESE EMERGENCY NUMBERS:
โ€ข National Emergency Hotline โ€” 911
โ€ข Quezon City Helpline โ€” 122
โ€ข Philippine Red Cross โ€” 143 / (02) 8527-8385 to 95
โ€ข NDRRMC โ€” (02) 8911-5061 to 65 loc. 100

๐ŸŽ’ DONโ€™T FORGET YOUR GO BAG!
Pack essentials such as a first-aid kit, flashlight and batteries, important documents, water, extra clothes, ready-to-eat food, whistle, and a battery-powered radio.

๐Ÿ  BE PREPARED: Stay updated through reliable sources, follow evacuation orders, secure things that may be affected by floods or strong winds, know your evacuation routes, and make sure your family knows how to contact each other.
Preparedness isnโ€™t about being afraid, itโ€™s about being ready. Take a few minutes today to prepare, because you never know when you might need it.

Stay alert. Stay prepared. Stay safe, Gardnerians!

โ€ŽKaya mag-iingat tayong lahat, at minamahal naming Gardnernians people. Kung hindi naman kailangang lumabas, stay muna sa bahay at magpahinga. At syempre, huwag kalimutang tingnan ang mga official announcements.

Happy Birthday to our hardworking Internal Vice President of the Red Cross Youth โ€“ Gardner College Diliman. โค๐Ÿฉน

May this new chapter return every ounce of goodness you've poured into others. May your days be as meaningful as the lives you've touched, your dreams find their way to you, and your heart always remain as compassionate as it is today. Thank you for being a light that chooses to shine for others. Today, may that same light shine back on you. May this year be gentle to your soul and generous to your dream. โœจ

Happy National CPR Day! โค๏ธ๐Ÿค

Today, we proudly celebrated the 10th National CPR Day at the Risen Garden, Quezon City Hall, alongside various organizations, schools, and barangays, united in promoting the life-saving importance of CPR.

The Gardner College Diliman Red Cross Youth Council was honored to be one of the participating Red Cross Youth Councils in this meaningful event. With the participation of over 37 Red Cross Youth volunteers, we reaffirmed our commitment to building a community that is prepared to respond and save lives.

CPR is an essential life-saving skill that empowers individuals to respond confidently during emergencies. Every trained responder helps create a safer and more resilient community.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Philippine Red Cross Secretary General Gwendolyn Pang for recognizing and calling the name of our Red Cross Youth Council during the event. We are truly honored by this recognition. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Philippine Red Cross Quezon City Chapter Administrator Ma'am Janice Dasalla Adolfo, the Philippine Red Cross National Headquarters, the Philippine Red Cross Quezon City Chapter, and the Quezon City Government for their unwavering support in making this celebration meaningful and successful.

Together, we continue to serve, inspire, and save livesโ€”one heartbeat at a time. โค๏ธ๐Ÿค

Day 1 has officially begun!
From the morning flag ceremony and opening program, to meeting new teachers, receiving our schedules, and finding our way around campus yesterday was full of firsts.

We walked in with new goals and walked out with new connections, new lessons, and plenty of Gardnerians-fueled energy in between classes. The halls were alive again, the classrooms were buzzing, and the spirit of a new academic year was everywhere.

This is where we learn, grow, and build the foundation for everything we want to achieve. Hereโ€™s to discipline, teamworks, and making the most of every opportunities this year.

First day: done!
Letโ€™s make it a year to remember, Gardnerians.
