𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗦 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗜𝗘𝗟𝗗: 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗘 𝗧𝗢𝗣 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗖𝗨𝗘 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚
LEG 1 - Northeast Luzon Electric Cooperatives Association, Inc.

From the ground to the pole, every movement matters.

For three days in Cagayan, lineworkers and safety and technical personnel from six Electric Cooperatives stepped into a training environment designed to test their skills, sharpen their response, and reinforce the importance of safety in linework.

Hosted by Cagelco II, the first leg of the Pole Top Rescue Training brought together 46 participants from CAGELCO II, CAGELCO I, ISELCO I, ISELCO II, NUVELCO, and QUIRELCO.

Through hands-on rescue exercises and technical demonstrations led by safety expert Jason Wayet, with Jose Crisostomo as assistant trainer, participants worked through situations that demand both technical knowledge and calm, coordinated action.

For PHILRECA, initiatives like this are part of a continuing commitment to strengthen the people behind the power service. Because keeping the lights on also means making sure those who work to restore them are equipped to do their jobs safely.

Organized by PHILRECA in partnership with PECASEO and The Lineman Academy, the training marks the beginning of another leg of learning for the Electric Cooperative sector.

The Pole Top Rescue Training moves to South Luzon for its second leg on September 30 to October 2, with QUEZELCO I as host.

NEXT STOP: SOUTH LUZON! ⚡

The mission continues as PHILRECA’s Pole Top Rescue Lineworker Training Program moves to Leg 2 on September 30 to October 2, 2026, with Quezon I Electric Cooperative, Inc. (QUEZELCO I) serving as the host electric cooperative.

In partnership with PECASEO and The Lineman Academy, the nationwide training program continues to equip lineworkers with critical skills in pole-top rescue, First Aid, Basic Life Support (BLS), and emergency response.

Leading the training is industry safety expert Mr. Jason Wayet, with Mr. Jose Crisostomo Jr., Assistant Trainer, supporting the sessions.

Sa pangunguna ng Power Bloc, umusad na sa House Committee on Legislative Franchises ang prangkisa ng walong (𝟴) 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 matapos aprubahan ng kumite ang mga kaukulang panukala. Ang hakbang na ito ay mahalaga para patuloy na maisakatuparan ng ating mga kooperatiba ang kanilang mandato sa paghahatid ng maaasahan at abot-kayang serbisyo ng kuryente sa kanilang mga pinaglilingkurang komunidad.

Binigyang-diin ng Power Bloc ang kahalagahan ng pagsusuporta ng Kongreso sa ating mga electric cooperatives bilang katuwang sa paghahatid ng serbisyo ng kuryente, lalo na sa ating kanayunan. Sa pamamagitan ng pag-aapruba ng kanilang prangkisa, mas napapalakas ang kanilang kakayahang gampanan ang kanilang mandato at tumugon sa pangangailangan ng kanilang mga member-consumer-owners.

Sa huli, patuloy na isusulong ng Power Bloc ang mga hakbang na magpapatatag sa ating electric cooperative sector at magtitiyak ng mas maaasahan, episyente, at abot-kayang serbisyo ng kuryente para sa bawat Pilipino.
