The Rotary Club of North EDSA, once again, implemented its signature project, "Save a Tree" thru Surgery and Maintenance. Saving a sick tree is just one of the SUSTAINABLE GREEN INITIATIVES of the club.
It involves a range of techniques aimed at maintaining tree health, addressing issues like decay and improving the overall structure and appearance of trees.
The tree surgery of four fruit bearing trees recently accomplished at the Project 6 Special Science Elementary School inspired United for Good President William Siy to again implement a second batch of tree surgery of four exotic Narra Trees located at the Barangay Multi Purpose Hall parking area. The area of focus Environment Chair Past President Getz Valler and Rotarian Imelda Nogara Manuel closely monitored the process with tree surgery technician Ricardo Iscala and Jovel Torrenueva, Jr. last December, 2025.
Rotary Club of North EDSA would like to thank PB Cecille Agcaoili of Barangay Project 6 for the support and cooperation during the implementation of this Tree Surgery and Maintenance Project.
