Thank you so much to the Capital1 Solar Spikers and Mandy for giving our 2KK Yapak scholars the chance to join the C1 Camp!

Sobrang daming natutunan ng scholars yesterday. From learning how to properly serve to understanding how a real volleyball game works, we saw them give it their all. Thank you for inspiring them and making them feel so welcome!

Caring for Nature, Caring for Our Future: Si Pete at ang Sipit 🌱🌍✨

Last Saturday, Si Pete at ang Sipit reminded our Kapatids of the importance of caring for and protecting the environment 🌿💚. Through this meaningful story 📖, they learned that nature is one of our most valuable treasures and that everyone has a role to play in keeping it safe and clean 🌳♻️. The session encouraged awareness about how even the simplest actions, such as throwing trash properly , keeping our surroundings clean 🧹, and showing respect for nature 🌱, can make a positive difference in our community. ✨

This KAP Session was more than just a storytelling activity 📚😊, it was an opportunity to inspire awareness and encourage positive habits that can make a lasting impact on our environment. Sa kwentong ito, si Pete ay nagpakita ng magandang halimbawa sa isang munting bata sa pamamagitan ng kanyang sipit at itim na supot ng basura. Napagtanto ng munting bata na ang pagtulong sa pagpapanatili ng kalinisan sa paligid ay isang gawaing kapuri-puri at nakatutuwa, kahit gaano pa man kasimple ang gamit na hawak. Higit sa lahat, natutunan nila na ang basura sa komunidad ay hindi dapat hinahayaang magkalat, at ang pagtutulungan ng nakatatanda at kabataan ang susi sa isang malinis na pamayanan. Dahil sa naging karanasan na ito, napatunayan na ang tunay na malasakit sa kalikasan ay nagsisimula sa simpleng pagkukusa.

Ang pagiging isang tagapangalaga ng kalikasan ay hindi nangangailangan ng pambihirang lakas o kapangyarihan, kundi ng katapangan na harapin ang dumi sa kapaligiran at simulan ang pagbabago gamit ang sariling mga kamay. Higit sa lahat, maaari tayong maging isang responsableng indibiduwal sa pamamagitan ng pagiging ehemplo sa iba at pagkakaroon ng pusong handang magsilbi sa komunidad. Walang pinipili ang pag-aalaga sa kalikasan—bata man o matanda, may sipit man o wala—basta't laging isaisip na mahalin ang ating kapaligiran, hayop man o halaman at puno.🌳🍃
