In today’s session, we had so much fun, laughter, and meaningful learnings! 💗
Our Kap-Love for today was Sundin ang Magulang. Harija is a good example of being a masunuring anak. Even though she didn’t really like the decision or utos of her parents at first, she still chose to respect them while holding on to her dream of going to school. 🥹📚
Because of her determination and willingness to communicate her dreams, she was eventually heard by her M’mah and was given the chance to study. Her story reminded us that being obedient and respectful doesn’t mean giving up on our dreams. Sometimes, we just have to be patient, determined, and brave enough to express what we truly want.
The kids also realized that the children from the Tribu of Kawman were unable to go to school because they experienced bullying. Through the story, they learned that bullying is never okay and that no child should be made to feel like they don’t belong.
Most importantly, they realized that every child has the right to learn, go to school, dream, and be given the opportunity to achieve those dreams.
Another session filled with fun, love, and lessons that we hope the kids will carry with them beyond our classroom. 💗📚
