Our journeys may look different, but our hopes for a better, more peaceful future connect us. As young people, we have the power to speak up, build bridges, embrace our differences, and turn our aspirations into action. ๐Ÿ’™

For Najah Domiangca, being young is more than a stage in life but rather an opportunity to use our voices, take action, and create meaningful change. It is a reminder that no matter where we come from, we each have a role to play in building peace.

This International Youth Day, may we continue to listen to one another, learn from our differences, and choose to be part of the change we want to see.

The second week of the Applied Peace Network (APN) Philippines 2026 was made even more meaningful by the generous welcome and support of our partners in Quezon City.

Our never-ending heartfelt gratitude to the Quezon City Public Library, QC Youth Development Office, Quezon City Tourism Department, Quezon City Business Permits and Licensing Department, and the Quezon City Government for opening your doors and sharing your spaces, experiences, and insights with the APN 2026 delegation.

Your warm welcome reminded our young peacebuilders that peacebuilding is strengthened when institutions and communities come together to learn, listen, and build better futures.

Again, thank you for being part of the APN journey and for helping our delegates see peacebuilding in action. ๐Ÿ’™

APN 2026 delegates Von Jabagaton, Maria Elenie Mangsat and Delnalyn Awali share a meaningful conversation on youth, purpose, and peacebuilding. This reminds us that young people donโ€™t just have a place in the conversation. We help shape where it goes.

From APN 2026, a reminder that peacebuilding starts by listening! ๐Ÿ’™

For Kassandra Piang Acopio, the Applied Peace Network was a lesson in grounding leadership in the voices, stories, and realities of communities, especially those too often left unheard.

As we continue to nurture young leaders, we carry forward this APN insight that peace is not something we bring to communities; it is something we build with them.

The first half of 2026 has been defined by meaningful partnerships, empowered young leaders, and a shared commitment to fostering peace across Southeast Asia.

Through regional and national workshops, dialogue, and community-driven initiatives, we have continued to create opportunities for youth to lead with purpose and shape more inclusive, resilient communities.

Each milestone reflects a simple but powerful truth: lasting peace is cultivated through trust, collaboration, and the courage to bring people together.

As we reflect on our ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฒ ๐— ๐—ถ๐—ฑ-๐—ฌ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ ๐—›๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ต๐—น๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ต๐˜๐˜€, we celebrate the young changemakers, partners, and communities whose dedication continues to transform dialogue into action and vision into lasting impact.

Together, we remain committed to building bridges, strengthening communities, and empowering the next generation of peacebuilders. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐Ÿ’™

What does peacebuilding look like in action?

Sometimes, it looks like a city opening its doors to young leaders eager to learn. ๐Ÿ’™

As part of the Applied Peace Network (APN) Philippines 2026, our delegates had the privilege of visiting the Quezon City Government for a benchmarking experience that brought good governance, youth leadership, and public service to life.

From innovative youth development initiatives and climate action to gender inclusion, Bangsamoro affairs, disaster resilience, and digital public services, our participants witnessed how meaningful policies can create lasting impact in communities. The learning journey was made even more inspiring through visits to the Quezon City Public Library and the Quezon City Business Permits and Licensing Department (QC BPLD), where innovation and citizen-centered governance were on full display.

To the Quezon City Local Government, especially the QC Youth Development Office (QCYDO) and the Quezon City Tourism Department (QCTD), we would like to extend our gratitude for your warm hospitality, generous sharing of knowledge, and for making every member of our delegation feel genuinely welcome.

Your openness reminds us that peacebuilding is strengthened when institutions invest in young people, champion inclusive governance, and create spaces where learning and collaboration can flourish.

Maraming salamat, Quezon City, for inspiring the next generation of peacebuilders. We leave not only with new ideas but with renewed hope that transformative leadership and people-centered governance can help build more peaceful, resilient, and inclusive communities.

Together, we continue building peaceโ€”one partnership, one community, and one young leader at a time. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธโœจ
