Last May 13, 2026, UPD ASC Chairperson Aisiz Rabago informed Vice Chairperson for Internal Affairs, Gillian Paul Serrano, of her decision to resign from the student council. The resignation was later formalized on June 13, 2026 when Chairperson Rabago filed her letter of resignation and was accepted by the council during their General Assembly on June 15, 2026.
The letter of resignation declared personal health reasons and challenges working with the council members as the causes of her resignation. More specifically, Chairperson Rabago mentioned that the overwhelming responsibilities of being the chairperson and lack of initiative from council members led to her decision to resign from the council.
The UP Diliman Architecture Student Council is grateful for Chairperson Rabagoโs commitment and service to the student body. She made significant contributions in the planning and ex*****on of the councilโs events and initiative throughout the academic year. The council extends its gratitude and wishes her well in their future endeavours.
According to Article IX Section 3 of the UPD ASC Constitution, the remaining Standard Bearers of the council have collectively decided to leave the chairperson position vacant given the short amount of time remaining in the councilโs term. This decision was accepted by the council during their General Assembly last June 15, 2026. Moreover, the UPD ASC SBS will assume the remaining tasks to ensure the council continues its service to the UPCA community.
