In celebration of Kalayaan Philippines Inc.’s (KPI) 37th Anniversary, we are deeply honored to have BGEN FERDINAND GEMENIC RAMIREZ FA (MNSA), Commander of AFPRESCOM, as our Guest of Honor and Speaker.

In his keynote address, BGEN Ramirez extended his warmest congratulations to the KPI family. He emphasized that he is looking forward to KPI’s continued active engagement with AFPRESCOM.

He shared that AFPRESCOM is aggressively enhancing its capabilities to ensure that all AFP Reserve Units (AFPARU) achieve excellent readiness ratings. Ultimately, this strengthens our units to be fully prepared and capable for mobilization whenever necessity calls.

The Kalayaan Philippines Inc. (KPI) proudly marked its 37th Anniversary, graced by the Distinguished Guest of Honor and Speaker, BGEN Ferdinand Geminic P Ramirez (MNSA) PA, Commander of the AFPRESCOM, alongside our esteemed VIP guests including former ARG Commander BGEN Daniel Soriano and his wife Dra. Luz Soriano, LTC Jamel T Batara, and Ms. Analee Hilario, the wife of the late Battalion Commander of the 903rd KPI Signal Battalion. The momentous occasion was spearheaded by our visionary KPI National Leadership corps, featuring National Chairman LTC Virgilio Re*****on Pinera PA (RES), National President LTC Harry “Energy” Gemzon PA (RES), and Executive Vice President LTC Meliton “Hammerhead” Fulgar Jr. PA (RES). Standing in solidarity with them were our dedicated officers and chapter heads, including MAJ Enrique “Cardinal” Santos PA (RES), MAJ Carmelo Cortez PA (RES), MAJ Arnel "Hunter" Bueza PA (RES), MAJ Jever “Ultra” Mahinay PA (RES), MAJ Melvin “Jupiter” Bacani PA (RES), CPT Virgilio “Winchester” Pinera Jr. PA (RES), CPT Allan "Hawkeye" Bilolo PA (RES), 1LT Rodolfo "Excalibur" Torres Jr. PA (RES), KPI Rizal Chapter Governor MSgt Don “Dotnet” Santiago PA (res), and KPI Tarlac Acting Governor Jess Leijano “Vision” Tolentino.

This 37th-year milestone stands as a powerful testament to our enduring commitment to national service, camaraderie, and volunteerism. The day’s proceedings commenced with a holy mass to seek divine guidance before the main program officially unfolded. Highlighting the event were the rank pinning ceremony for the newly graduated members of MOT Class 06-2025 of our unit, followed by the formal oath-taking of our newest KPI members who have chosen to answer the call of duty. As we march forward into another year of volunteerism, we remain steadfast in our sacred motto and core belief that service to humanity is service to God almighty.

Through radio communication, we bridge gaps, amplify local voices, and provide a vital lifeline that keeps our neighborhoods safe, informed, and united.

𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐝𝐚 𝐄𝐬𝐤𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Showing our strong dedication to help the community, the Kalayaan Philippines Inc. (KPI) Rizal Chapter successfully conducted its Brigada Eskwela operations today, June 4, 2026. This activity aims to support our public school teachers and students for the upcoming school year. The mission was done smoothly in two schools in Rizal: Taytay Senior High School and Angono National High School. Under the great leadership of our regional officers, the operation was headed by KPI Rizal Chapter Gov. Donato "Dotnet" Santiago, with the full support and active participation of the chapter's officers and dedicated members who worked together for this project.

The operation became a success through the hard work of the whole team, who successfully turned over essential cleaning materials, disinfectants, and maintenance supplies to the school principals and teachers. These donations will help prepare the classrooms to make sure they are safe, clean, and ready for thousands of returning students. Through this initiative, KPI Rizal Chapter showed the true spirit of bayanihan, connecting our organization to the public schools to help the local community.

This achievement proves the unity and readiness of KPI to serve whenever and wherever we are needed. Our presence in Taytay and Angono shows our dedication to the community and the spirit of volunteerism that defines our group.

𝟗𝟎𝟑𝐫𝐝 (𝐊𝐏𝐈) 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠

The 903rd (KPI) Signal Battalion successfully convened for a productive mustering on May 9, 2026, held at the Aguinaldo Room, AFPCOC, Camp Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City. The activity, which ran from 0800H to 1200NN, was led by LTC Harry “Energy” Gemzon PA (RES) Batcom, alongside LTC Meliton “Hammerhead” Fulgar Jr PA (RES), Major Arnel “Hunter” Bueza PA (RES), Major Enrique “Cardinal” Santos PA (RES), Major Melvin “Jupiter” Bacani PA (RES), Captain Allan “Hawkeye” Bilolo PA (RES), Captain Virgilio “Winchester” Pinera Jr PA (RES), 1LT Rodolfo “Excalibur” Torres Jr PA (RES), and MSgt. Don “Dotnet” Santiago PA (res), Governor of the Rizal Chapter. They were joined by dedicated Enlisted Personnel and the newest members of the organization, demonstrating a strong unified presence.

The session commenced with a comprehensive presentation by Major Arnel “Hunter” Bueza PA (RES) regarding Military Discipline and Courtesy, reinforcing the core values and professional conduct expected of every reservist. Following this, the agenda shifted to the final coordination and logistical requirements for the upcoming 37th KPI Anniversary Celebration scheduled for June 11, 2026. The leadership also detailed the operational plans for the activities on June 12, 2026, in Bocaue, Bulacan, in support of the Feast of Our Lady of Eucharist and Grace at Brgy. San Vicente.

To ensure ceremonial excellence for these upcoming milestones, the session included a rigorous practice of the Color Guards. The battalion was privileged to receive specialized technical instruction from AFPRESCOM personnel, specifically PVT Paul C. Nesperos (PA) and SGT Edmar Damas (PA), who shared their expertise in drill and ceremonies with the members. This training ensures that the unit maintains the highest standards of military discipline and presentation during the upcoming anniversary and public engagements.
