The Loyola Mountaineers envisions a society of individuals that have a drive to nurture their skills, fully aware of the needs of the country and active participants in the challenge of nation building. We envision a society of individuals who are appreciative of nature and advocates of environmental conservation and rehabilitation, and who, in the spirit of willing service, are competent and responsible servants to their countrymen.

Respect isn’t just a value we climb with it’s one we live by 🫂

We were joined by the University Gender Hub for a Decorum Talk on SOGIESC, boundaries, and consent an important reminder that safe spaces don’t just happen on the trail, they start with how we treat one another every day.

Thank you to the Gender Hub for leading such an open and meaningful discussion, and to all our aspiring applicants who showed up ready to listen and learn.

Every climb starts long before the trail. ⛰️

This year’s Basic Mountaineering Course 1 (BMC 1) reminded our applicants that the mountain doesn’t test your legs first it tests your prep, your patience, and your people. From basic mountaineering principles to packing,every small lesson today is a safety net for the summits ahead.

This first week of the apps process left us with stories worth remembering and runs to recover from 💨

The General Assembly 🏔️ gave our aspiring batch 34 applicants a detailed breakdown of what to expect and a look into the values that shape every Mountaineer 🥾. The Running Seminar 🏃‍♂️💪 picked up right after, turning talk into training with tips on pacing, endurance, and building the discipline this org runs on. Thank you to all the speakers who gave their time and shared their journeys with us 🙏
