In line with the celebration of Science Month 2025, the Youth for Environment in Schools-Organization (YES-O) successfully held a symposium titled “𝗤𝗖'𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲" last September 29, 2025.

The event highlighted the importance of collective action and innovation in addressing today’s environmental challenges, inspiring students to take an active role in building a greener and more sustainable Quezon City. 🌍💚

Last October 03, 2025, Novaliches High School came together to honor and appreciate our dear teachers who continuously guide, inspire, and empower us.

From the heartfelt performances, creative booths, and tokens of gratitude, we thank everyone who contributed and participated in making this celebration meaningful. Truly, our teachers are the light, strength, and second parents in our journey as learners.

Did you know most of the plastics we use daily, like straws, plastic bags, plastic bottles, and food wrappers are single-use and can take hundreds of years to break down?

Plastics doesn't just go away, they pile up in landfills and oceans, harming wildlife and even entering our food chain as microplastics.

Let's be environmentally friendly by:

🌱 Bring your own reusable bag when shopping (EcoBag)
🌱 Use a refillable water bottle instead of buying bottled water.
🌱 Choose products with less packaging or eco-friendly alternatives.
🌱Say no to single-use plastics whenever possible.

Every small choice reduces the plastic pile and helps build a cleaner, safer planet for future generations. 💚

As the 1st Quarterly Examinations approach this August 20 & 22, we, the NHS YES-O Club, are cheering for each and every Novaleños!

Exams may be challenging, but so are you—because Novaleños are resilient, hardworking, and capable of achieving great things! 🏆✨

Stay focused, keep a positive mindset, and don’t forget to take care of yourself while studying. With faith, perseverance, and determination, nothing is impossible.

On July 4, 2025, the NHS YES-O Club, in collaboration with the NHS Research Club, successfully held a welcoming program for the incoming students of Science, Technology, and Engineering – Grade 7 Alison.

This meaningful event was made possible through the collective efforts of both students and teachers who believe in nurturing the next generation of thinkers and innovators.
