A Reminder to Those Who Wish to Become an Odd Fellow

To those who are considering joining the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, remember this:

Do not join merely because you are looking for a group to belong to. Join because you are willing to become a better man and to help make the lives of others better.

Odd Fellowship is not about titles, regalia, handshakes, or simply attending meetings. These are only outward expressions of something greater. The true measure of an Odd Fellow is found in his character, conduct, service, and commitment to his Brothers and his community.

As a wise man once said, “Before you ask what the organization can give you, ask what you can give to the organization.”

If you seek friendship, be a friend.
If you seek respect, show respect.
If you seek brotherhood, practice loyalty.
If you seek leadership, learn to serve.
If you seek wisdom, be willing to listen and learn.
Joining is a choice. Becoming an Odd Fellow is a responsibility.

Take your time. Learn our principles. Observe our Brothers. Understand what we stand for. And when you finally decide to enter our doors, come not simply as someone looking for membership, but as a man prepared to Live and Serve.

First Fraternal Lodge Visitation of 2026

Quezon City Lodge No. 10, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, proudly conducted its first official visitation of the year to Sierra Madre Lodge No. 19 – IOOF.

Our sincere gratitude to the officers and brothers of Sierra Madre Lodge No.19-IOOF for the warm fellowship and gracious hospitality. Gatherings like these strengthen the unbreakable bonds of Friendship, Love, and Truth, reminding us that although we meet under different District banners, we remain one family in the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.
