Award-winning media literacy nonprofit based in the Philippines. Established 2014. Every day, we consume media. We are based in Quezon City, Philippines.
This act has become so mundane that learning about it has become taken for granted. People tend to overlook the fact that the media has the power to spread false information and even instill social constructions to the consciousness of the public. Indeed, there is a constant need for the public to be educated in their consumption of media. This will be an attempt to liberate the people from conser
vative culture and reactionary politics.
“Out of The Box” – where “box” refers to television – signifies escaping and going beyond the boundaries that media has set. Also, it refers to challenging beliefs and repositioning of perspectives. WHO WE ARE

As part of our Take Ctrl ⇧ Shift Habits campaign with Nagkakaisang Ina ng Payatas, we held a workshop for mothers in Payatas in partnership with Nagkakaisang Ina ng Payatas, raising awareness on digital rights and practical Internet security skills 👩🍼 — because when women understand their digital rights, they gain the power to protect their families, amplify their voices, and thrive in today’s connected world 💻
